Saint Vlas, Bulgaria. From small fishing village to luxury seaside resort

A bit of history of St. Vlas

Saint Vlas, Bulgaria. Bird's-eye view. Photo: Marina Sunrise Complex

It is not surprising that the first settlement arose here as early as the 2nd century BC. Thracians, Greeks, and later Turks, chose the southern slopes Balkan mountains for their dwellings. Pirates, at one time, also did not disdain this place, leaving behind only death, destruction and ashes. “Thanks” to precisely such pirate raids, as well as the frequent change of power and religion in the region, the remains of only one of the 5 monasteries that existed in Saint Vlas. This is a monastery Saint Andrew the First-Called". Today, there is a chapel in this place, and not far from it there is a spring, the water from which is revered by the locals as healing, especially for eye diseases.

At the same time, it is known that the Greeks called this place Larissa, Turks - Monastery. The city acquired its real name in the 14th century, in honor of the patron saint of shepherds and merchants. Since 1963, Saint Vla with becomes known as seaside resort, mainly among the inhabitants of Bulgaria and mainly due to its microclimate.

modern history Saint Vlas can be divided into two fundamentally different periods: before 2000 and after. Until 2000, family houses and hotels of 2-3 floors dominate here, in a pronounced Eastern European style. So far, construction is only allowed on construction sites, i.e. the northern part of the town, at the foot of Balkan mountains. After 2000, development becomes more and more aggressive and moves to agricultural land and pastures, i.e. the southern part Saint Vlas, through main road, closer to the sea.

Construction is not united in a certain style, and today we can observe the first, second and even third line from the sea, built up with hotels and tourist complexes.

Local residents say that over the past 10 years the number of buildings on the territory of St. Vlas has increased by 2.5 times.

Of course, someone suffered from such a rapid development, but someone naturally won. But the fact remains that today, Saint Vlas, with its well-developed infrastructure, is perfect place not only for summer vacation, but also permanent place residence.

Saint Vlas, Bulgaria. Great place to stay with children in Bulgaria

Saint Vlas is popular mainly among couples with children, those who simply appreciate peace and quiet, would like to improve their health, as well as among wealthy Bulgarians. Therefore, the resort remains quiet and calm, even in the midst of summer season.

So, do not worry - at night you will not be awakened by loud music and screams of drunken youth, as, for example, in the center Sunny Beach. Whatever it is, remember! If you still get tired of enjoying this peaceful environment, Sunny Beach and are just a few minutes drive from Saint Vlas.

Accommodations in Saint Vlas: hotels, apartments, family hotels, private sector

Saint Vlas, Bulgaria. Photo:

Despite its well-developed infrastructure and close proximity to popular Sunny Beach And , Saint Vlas still not well known internationally. Yes, Bulgarians have been visiting this resort since the beginning of 1963, but Russians and Poles, for example, discovered Saint Vlas relatively recently.

The southern part of the town is the most developed and attractive for international tourists, because it is located near the beach and the yacht port. Northern, Bulgarian part Saint Vlas, offers its guests something more: tradition, history and incomparable panoramic views of the sea and mountains.

Hotels, boarding houses and tourist complexes in Saint Vlas- countless. Once, I decided to count them, but gave up this useless business. Hotels in Sveti Vlas are mostly 2-3 star, although there are 4 and even 5 star hotels. I would not pay attention to 5 stars, because by European standards, these are still four, or even 3-star hotels.

The main rule when choosing a hotel in Bulgaria: if the hotel has a category of 4 stars, then it is most likely three stars, if 3, then it is two ... and so on.

Private apartments do not have star categories, but are one of the best and inexpensive options when choosing a place to live Saint Vlas. Moreover, there are plenty of newly built complexes here. And when there is competition, then the prices are quite low, and the standards are high.

Hotels in St. Vlas (Bulgaria) are becoming more and more popular. This young growing resort is half an hour from Bourgas Airport and five minutes from famous resort Sunny Beach. Its image is being built in a smart way, by complex infrastructure projects, which, fortunately, was passed by the “spot building”, which was popular in the last century, but now outdated. The resort here was built not on a bare ground, but as if in addition to the already existing county town. Thus, tourists here are not initially deprived of banking, medical and other infrastructure institutions, etc.

The cost of tours to the hotels of this resort is quite budgetary. Local three-star service is estimated for one person for 7 nights at a rate of 275-300 €; four-star - 380-430 €; five-star - 450-550 €. Thus, a Bulgarian five-star tour can be purchased at the price of a Turkish three-star tour.

Chip of rest in the hotels of St. Vlas is a calm atmosphere, a family orientation of rest and a powerful therapeutic effect from the combination of the purest mountain air with the healing water of the Black Sea. Those who wish can contact specialists for professional spa treatments. There is also a picturesque marina where you can rent a boat. Mountain chain Straja Planina, provides the maximum comfortable climate for allergy sufferers, asthmatics. In the resort of St. Vlas, nature itself heals. The secret of recovery is that the local air is, unlike the classic sea, much drier. Practice shows that tourists who rested at the resort during the holiday season during the cold season are much less susceptible to respiratory diseases.

Resort hotel management

There are few five-star hotel complexes in this resort. Travel agencies recommend one of them - "Garden of Eden". However, not far from St. Vlas, just 4 km away, there is another five-star hotel - Royal Castle Design & Spa Hotel. Four-star service is provided to its guests by Apartcomplex Olymp, Marina Sunrise, St. George hotel. The bulk of tourists choose hotels in St. Vlas (Bulgaria) with a three-level "star rating". It is they, relatively compact and neat, that are most numerous here.

The resort of St. Vlas (Bulgaria) enjoys stable and well-deserved popularity among people who want to strengthen and heal their lungs. Finding a hotel here ahead of time is not a problem, since the existing infrastructure has a fairly wide range of 43 hotels ranging from three to five stars.

Tropics

The three-star Tropics Hotel (Saint Vlas, Bulgaria) with 52 rooms is located just 70 meters from the beach and a 15-minute walk from the resort center. Despite the fact that it is located in the city, it is calm here. The four-storey building of the hotel complex is quite presentable. Its facade, decorated with intricate glazing, overlooks the city street, and behind its back side there is a pool area.

The hotel has spacious double rooms, new ergonomic furniture, air conditioning, comfortable furnished loggia. The TV is tuned to Russian channels. correct and roomy enough. Wi-Fi is quite decent in speed in the reception area. The hotel staff is Russian-speaking.

The hotel has a children's playground and a children's pool. The territory of the hotel complex is quite compact, there is little vegetation on it.

"Iris"

Also, a comfortable three-star vacation is guaranteed to its visitors by the Iris Hotel (Bulgaria, Sveti Vlas). The three-storey hotel building with spacious balconies has a rectangular shape. The hotel area is small, it is designed as a single terrace with an outdoor pool.

Its 45 rooms provide a relaxing family holiday for guests. The interior decoration of the rooms is dominated by "warm" colors: orange, brown, pastel-coffee. The furniture of the client rooms corresponds to the economy class.

It is close enough to another, more noisy and crowded resort of Sunny Beach. From the windows of the third floor you can see its beaches and hotels. Sand beach hotel "Iris" is small but neat. In the pool area, thanks to the shade from the walls of the building, you can hide from the sun. The food of the hotel is noted in the reviews as good.

"Larisa"

The three-star hotel "Larisa" (Bulgaria, Sveti Vlas), unlike the two already mentioned, hospitably opens the doors of two hotel buildings to its guests. Walk 7 minutes to the sea. There are many inexpensive shops and restaurants around. Mercury Hypermarket is a 10-minute walk away. Russian speaking staff. Good hospitality towards guests. Internet in the hotel is free.

If the furniture, household appliances, plumbing of "Larisa" is of the same class as in "Tropic" and "Iris", then lovers of cleanliness will surely enjoy staying in it: rooms are cleaned more often - daily, linen is changed - once every 5 days. In addition, despite the compactness of the territory, it is landscaped with fruit trees and ornamental plantings.

"Panorama"

Hotel "Panorama" (Bulgaria, Sveti Vlas) 3 * also offers its visitors a good range of hotel services three-star level in a three-story small building containing 24 rooms. The hotel is organizationally a family business. The owners are the spouses. The husband solves organizational and supply issues. My wife helps in the kitchen, and another relative works there. The son is on duty at the reception.

According to the reviews of the guests, the Panorama restaurant deserves special praise. The local team prepares a range of dishes that exceed the level of three stars. If breakfast can be called standard and light, then lunch and dinner are cooked at home, and both the first and second courses for vacationers are prepared in two versions.

"Saint Vlas"

On the third line from the sea is three star hotel"Saint Vlas" (Bulgaria). Reviews of tourists about him testify to the diligence of the staff to please the guests of the hotel. It should be recognized that Bulgaria is distinguished by the quality of the resort economy. Hotel "Saint Vlas" (photo shows this) is a typical example of a well-established private family hotel business: a neat residential building, a clean pool, a pleasant calm atmosphere, good food, comfortable rooms. The safe is at the reception. Guests use the municipal beach.

Not far from the hotel complex is bus stop from where you can go to the more noisy resort of Sunny Beach.

The obvious advantage of the hotel is the proximity to the shopping center. However, the extreme compactness of the territory of this hotel complex makes it less attractive for families with small children.

"Julia"

According to reviews, the three-star hotel "Julia" (Bulgaria, Sveti Vlas) is convenient for families with small children, it is distinguished by well-organized and almost home-made food in its quality, the presence of a children's playroom, slides near the children's pool. He is in the third line. Organized transfer in the morning - to the beach - and in the afternoon - from the beach. The owner Bojan and his wife Iskra run their resort business with skill and cordiality.

You can choose the type of food for yourself. The staff is fluent in Russian, but among the Russian-speaking guests - about 50%. The second half of the vacationers - the British, Danes, Germans. Most of the guests come here with their families, i.e. with their children.

"Saint George"

For older people, as well as for families with small children, the four-star St. George Hotel (Bulgaria, Sveti Vlas) is optimally suited. It was built in 2009, which made it possible to take into account the needs of the modern hotel industry. Spacious rooms are provided with simple but functional modern furniture and household appliances.

The hotel restaurant provides its guests with a variety of nutritious and tasty food. The menu of the restaurant is varied and varied. Visitors note worthy tastes of meat and fish dishes, as well as an abundance of fruits.

The hotel complex has a mini-club. There is a well-equipped children's playground. Animators work with children. The territory of the hotel is prudently fenced, which allows parents to relax their constant supervision of the baby during the hours of such activities. At this time, for example, you can visit the hotel fitness club with exercise equipment or swim in the pool.

beach holiday

Tourists who have rested in St. Vlas recommend this resort in their reviews. They unanimously note the local especially clean and pleasant air. Mountains, like a natural barrier, do not allow moist air masses to pass through. The air in Sveti Vlas is a cocktail of mountain freshness and sea ions, it is relatively dry. average temperature- 27 degrees. The holiday season lasts from May to September.

The sandy beaches of St. Vlas "Marina" and "Central" are quite small, the sea area near them is limited by compact bays. Connoisseurs of sunbathing and swimming, noisy youth parties, water sports prefer to visit the wide beaches of Sunny Beach stretching along the coast by means of transport. They can be reached by bus in 15 minutes.

Nutrition

Let's try to orient in the prices of food for those wishing to visit the resort of St. Vlas (Bulgaria). The economy class hotel treats its visitors with portioned meat for 17 leva; the second dish in a pot, piquantly supplemented with ham or cheese, or scrambled eggs - 7 leva; soup - up to 4 leva; salad - 3 leva (1 lev is a little more than 35 Russian rubles).

Tourists-gourmets also were not offended. good recommendations in the reviews deserved a restaurant overlooking the sea and the promenade "Bistro B41" (very tasty risotto, mussels, Mexican chicken, chicken steak, Greek salad). good national cuisine you can taste in the restaurant "Waterfalls" (meat and fish sach, bean soup, tarator, all kinds of pancakes). In "Kotva" you should try the signature cake and paella, moussaka and kawarma.

In general, the infrastructure of St. Vlas, its street cafes and restaurants can significantly expand the hotel food ration. They are inexpensive and friendly. Here you can taste potatoes with feta cheese, shrimp, a variety of salads, and originally cooked chicken. The kiosks sell delicious pizza and pies.

shopping

A good place to buy souvenirs and various household trifles is the resort of St. Vlas (Bulgaria). A hotel - almost any, even with shops on the territory - by itself cannot always satisfy the tastes of shopping gourmets. But the nearby infrastructure of small trading establishments organically complements its capabilities.

The main street pleases with an abundance of shops and restaurants for vacationers of such a resort as St. Vlas (Bulgaria). The hotel quarters of the city come close to it. The exchange rate in local exchangers is much better than at the airport.

However, the possibilities of local shopping, frankly, are not rich. After all, the trade of a county town is the trade of a county town. Grandmarket "Mercury" is a variety. But tourists should not go too far in their expectations from the trade of the resort. You can count on local souvenirs worth up to 50 BGN.

But if you have big plans for shopping - do not despair, because transport infrastructure St. Vlas gives you a chance to make them come true. You will be absolutely right, pinning your hopes on, however, how “option B” will suit a trip to the shopping centers of Burgas.

Conclusion

The resort of St. Vlas is fundamentally different from the neighboring Sunny Beach. Its climate is more salubrious. The town is not in vain chosen by western tourists: it is being built according to the patterns of a classic western resort. Neat streets, shops, impeccable car roads. Everything is quiet, beautiful, decorous. Here in the evenings, as in the neighboring Sunny Beach, you can not see crowds of drunken youth. Europeans, Germans, British, etc., who are accustomed to order, feel comfortable here and at ease. Among the guests, by the way, they are the majority.

Quiet resort, decent location. Judging by the reviews, many tourists who have been here are not averse to visiting this place again.

Dinevi Resort and St. Vlas start the new season 2014 with innovations and bold ideas!

The new piano bar and restaurant, on the site of "Magnito/Rococo" bears the name "NOTI" and covers most of the second floor of the "Marina", where in separate corners are decorated: a restaurant with a show kitchen and a piano bar. Description

One of resort towns Bulgaria - Sveti Vlas - is located 3 km from Sunny Beach, 10 km from Nessebar and 40 km from Burgas Airport.

One of the youngest Bulgarian resorts, offering its guests accommodation in modern hotel complexes and aparthotels. A few years ago, the largest yacht port of the coast was opened here. Saint Vlas offers climatic conditions and healing air. Surrounded by the sea, on the one hand, and a mountain range, on the other, the resort has a healing microclimate that favorably affects the condition of the bronchi and lungs.

Despite the small size of the resort - there is a large number of restaurants with the most varied cuisine, bars with excellent panoramic views to the resort of Sunny Beach and the town of Nessebar, as well as shops and nightclubs.

Tours to St. Vlas are perfect for lovers of historical sights and cultural leisure.

One of the key attractions of the city is the temple of Athanasius the Great, built in 1864, as well as the churches of St. Andrew and Blachernae.

In the open amphitheater of the Arena complex, during the entire tourist season, they organize musical programms, theatrical performances, interesting shows and humorous evenings, and the port of Marina Dinevi hosts concerts, retro motorcycle parades, fashion shows, beauty contests, presentations and other events.

In Sveti Vlas, the issue of public order is taken very seriously, as there are villas of important government people and there is a yacht port. Therefore, on most streets of the resort town there is round-the-clock video surveillance.

"Saint Vlas? Where is this anyway?” - this is how every conversation begins when they ask me which resort in Bulgaria I flew to. It is a pity that few people know about this wonderful place. Or vice versa? I am inclined to think that perhaps the absence of crowds of tourists during the high season creates a very special atmosphere in the town. You go out onto the street leading to the beach, look around, and it seems that nature seemed to hold its breath for a moment. The bright sun, blue sky, green slopes of the mountains and the blue of the sea - this is the main color palette of St. Vlas in the summer.

Going to Bulgaria, I was looking for quiet resort located next to the crowded Sunny Beach. I wanted privacy against the backdrop of picturesque landscapes, a clean beach, decent restaurants with a selection of the freshest seafood and a decent night club for Saturday nights. I found all this in Saint Vlas.

What do we know about this place today? To begin with, it should be noted that the history of the city goes back to the 2nd century AD. However, the village received its current name only in 1886. The status of the city was assigned to it in 2006, and from that moment on, the modest fishing settlement began to be actively built up by local oligarchs - the Dinev brothers. And they still do it on a grand scale and far-reaching prospects.

If we take into account the fact that the city has a unique healing microclimate, then it is here that you can combine recovery and relaxation. The air saturated with iodine ions has a beneficial effect on the lungs and on the whole organism.

Already today St. Vlas is a fashionable seaside resort. A large yacht club is located here, where many chic snow-white "beauties" are moored, against which vacationers like to take photos.

Nearby is a good night bar and part-time club. Every Friday and Saturday, a string of expensive, polished cars stretches here. It is not uncommon to see the latest Porsches, Mercedes and Ferraris in the parking lot. As it turned out in a conversation with the locals, golden youth flock here from all over the coast.

In a relatively compact town, there are several hotels that proudly carry the status of a five-star. Beautiful restaurants with outdoor terraces, on which fans are installed, delight the eye with the panorama of the sea, and the stomach with fresh seafood. What else is needed for have a great holiday? Of course, a chic spa that meets all modern requirements and, of course, a spacious beach and warm sea.

In Sveti Vlas, an atmosphere of calm and privacy reigns, which is not typical for resort Bulgaria. In neighboring Sunny Beach, teenagers from Europe, who have been pretty drunk, escaped from parental care for a week, come off in the evenings to the fullest. After contemplating all this, I was already eager to return to St. Vlas and continue to rest my soul and, of course, my body. Although maybe at the age of 18 I would have joined this fun, but I have already outgrown this age.

Another pleasant moment - the town is absolutely safe. Here are the houses of important officials, so this issue is given special attention. Some streets even have surveillance cameras.

So let's go. About everything in order.

How to get there

St. Vlas is located on the Black Sea coast, just 5 kilometers from the largest resort in Bulgaria - Sunny Beach. Transport connection this city is very well established, so getting to it will not be difficult. Most fast way- by plane. You can also get there by train and bus.

By plane

It will be most convenient to fly to the airport of the city. We open a ticket booking site, choose an airline and a convenient flight, and look forward to our vacation. It is better to compare options and prices for flights beforehand. You can do this, for example.

In general, in my opinion, a car in Bulgaria will not be superfluous. The roads are quite good, right-hand traffic, familiar to us. Plus, the trip will be much more interesting, since many monasteries and wineries are located in the mountains, where public transport does not go.

By train

Good news for those who for some reason prefer to travel by train: from Moscow and St. railway to Bulgaria.

During the summer season (May - September), trains depart twice a week from Kievsky railway station. Travel time is about two days.

Tickets go on sale 60 days before the departure of the train. The price (one way) is about 200–250 USD. It's better to buy in advance. Closer to the date of departure will be more expensive.

Travelers from St. Petersburg will first have to drive to Moscow (from 40 USD one way) and then wait for the train to Burgas.

How to get from the station

WITH railway station Burgas to St. Vlas can be reached by taxi (30–40 USD) or by bus. First, we are looking for a route to Sunny Beach, and then we change to bus number 5 or number 8. They both go to Saint Vlas.

By bus

From Moscow, from the Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station, from the end of May to the end of December, you can go to Bulgaria by bus of the Bulgarian Express company. Travel time is a little more than a day. The route crosses the border with Ukraine, Moldova, Romania and finally Bulgaria. The ticket price for an adult is about 130 USD.

I'm not sure if this is the best way to get to Bulgaria, since crossing the borders can increase the trip from 25 hours to infinity. The bus goes to the bus station of Burgas, but passes through Sveti Vlas, where it makes two stops.

By car

The distance from Moscow to St. Vlas is about 2000 kilometers.

The route is the same as when traveling by bus (see above). Plus, you need to take into account one or two overnight stays on the road. Before the trip, it is better to immediately decide in which cities you will stop for rest.

From St. Petersburg the road is approximately 400 kilometers longer (2400 km).

In principle, if you are not in a hurry, you feel confident driving, and a person is traveling with you who can replace you on the way, you can also go by car. But this is best done in the summer.

By ferry

Unfortunately, there is no ferry service from Russia. But on the other hand, you can get to Bulgaria by ferry from the town of Chernomorsk, in Ukraine. So, if you happen to be near Odessa and want to make a sea trip to Varna, this option is for you.

A ticket to a cabin with three meals a day for an adult on the route Chernomorsk - Varna will cost around 70 USD. The ship is sailing along the Black Sea past Romania.

The second option is to drive your car to Romania and cross the Danube in the city of Calafat with the car. Travel time is about 15 minutes. However, you will have to tinker with the procedure for filling out paperwork for transporting a car. Another nuance is that the ferries do not have a clear schedule. Everything is simple here: we set sail as soon as the ship is full. The ticket price is about 4 USD, you need to pay 25 USD for a car and plus a port fee of 2 USD.

So, in 15 minutes you will moor at the Bulgarian port in the town of Vidin. Here you will need to buy a vignette for driving on roads within the country. The minimum period (10 days) will cost approximately 10 USD.

From this wonderful town, where you can take a short walk and see the ancient fortress, it is another 640 kilometers to go to St. Vlas.

It seems to me that this option is suitable only for those who really love to travel, who crave new experiences from being on the road, and, of course, for those who are not limited in time.

When is the season. When is the best time to go

It all depends on the purpose of your trip. In general, from October the resort says goodbye to vacationers and goes to sleep until the end of April - beginning of May. This is the most difficult season for the locals, as there is practically no work, and they have to be on forced leave.

If you are going to sunbathe and swim, choose the time from June to the end of September. During this period, the water is warm, and it is even hot outside.

If you are more interested in walking and sightseeing, then it is better to go in April-May or September-October. There are very few tourists during these seasons, but the weather is quite pleasant. Walk in the summer heat scorching sun- bad idea. So feel free to go in spring or autumn.

Perhaps most of the restaurants will still be closed, but the hotel will always serve you with pleasure.

In winter, the situation worsens, there are practically no people. But you can spend time in spas.

Saint Vlas in summer

The highest season is during the summer months: June, July and August. At this time, the water in the sea is warm, the sun is quite hot, and the time for seasonal fruits and vegetables comes. In June, tourists are just starting to fill the hotels, and in July there are already many times more people on the street and on the beaches.

My trip fell at the beginning of June, and I can safely say that this is a great time. Saint Vlas, in principle, is not crowded with vacationers, and at this time there are very few people here. This is a great opportunity to enjoy all the beauties and get a light tan under the rays. gentle sun.

The water in the sea does not resemble fresh milk, but the temperature allows you to swim and cool slightly. In the evenings, restaurants always have free tables, you can choose any one to your taste. If it's cool for you to sit on the outdoor terrace, ask for a blanket - and the problem will disappear!

Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy sweet strawberries, cherries and apricots, which are sold on the street in tents. Cheap and very tasty! Vitamin charge is provided to you!

Average daily air temperature by months:

  • June +25ºС;
  • July +29ºС;
  • August +29ºС.

Water temperature:

  • June +22ºС;
  • July +25ºС;
  • August +26ºС.

Accommodation prices begin to rise from June, and by August they are gaining their peak levels.

Saint Vlas in autumn

September can also be considered a good month for holidays. It smoothly closes the season. The water in the sea is still quite warm (about +23ºС), and the air has not yet had time to cool down from the hot summer sun - the temperature is kept at +25ºС. Parents are already taking their children home, prices are dropping rapidly for absolutely everything (from groceries to hotel stays). For little money you can buy delicious grapes and peaches.

In October, the resort is empty, but for those who want to improve their health, this is a great opportunity to spend time with benefits. low prices. The air temperature is about +17ºС. Swimming in the sea is already cold. Although, taking into account the fact that half of Russia dives into an ice hole at Christmas, +18ºС will seem to someone quite a suitable temperature. Walrus Option!

Saint Vlas in spring

April and May are also very good for holidays. It is too early to swim (the water is cold), but there is no such sweltering heat. And the prices for hotels and flights are much lower.

This is an ideal month for those who want to avoid the influx of tourists and calmly, without queues, explore temples and churches, ride in the mountains, visit a winery and taste local wine.

In April, the temperature is about +15ºС, and in May it is already about +20ºС. Lightweight windbreakers are quite suitable for walking.

Saint Vlas in winter

Winter on the coast is not very comfortable, as cold winds from the sea bring moisture. But this does not scare our travelers.

By mid-December, whole families come here to celebrate the New Year and spend the holidays. Almost all restaurants are closed, but at hotels you can have a delicious lunch and dinner. If you choose to stay in an apartment, you will have your own kitchen at your disposal and you will be able to prepare your favorite meals. Products can be bought at the supermarket, which I will write about later.

For girls, a visit to the spa will be unforgettable. Time flies by there. In addition, many health programs are designed for 5-7 days.

Districts. Where is the best place to live

It is best to stay closer to the sea. If only because the area is mountainous and rises from the coast to the mountains. Therefore, from the beach you have to go up.

I would single out two zones in the city:

  • The first is from the beach to the highway.
  • The second - from the highway to the foot of the mountains.

I advise all vacationers to stay in the first zone, which is obvious. The walk to the beach will be no more than 10-15 minutes. You will have to climb back up the hill, but this is not critical.

It will be much more inconvenient to stay in zone 2 and walk every day for 20 minutes to the sea for half an hour back. Believe me, in the heat it is extremely unpleasant. The second zone has only one plus - the price in hotels will be lower. But this advantage is somewhat questionable, since best hotels are located next to the beach.

There are several small beaches in the city, they resemble individual coves. You can walk around and find the one you like. I chose narrow strips of sand where there are no people, because there is very little space. For those who do not want to have "neighbors" around - a great option.

St. Vlas is a very small town, as you can see by looking at the map. However, it offers a rich selection of hotels and apartments. Basically, these are 3 and 4 star hotels. But there are several options for maximum stardom. You can compare prices for accommodation, and the easiest way to book a room you like is at.

The most famous five-star hotel is Garden of Eden(located next to the beach in zone 1).

The name speaks for itself! The beautiful garden, laid out on the territory of the hotel, really gives it a special charm. It is very convenient that leaving the garden, you get directly to the beach. However, you will have to pay for a sun lounger, as well as for using wireless Internet. Still, Bulgarian five stars is a very subjective thing. You should not look for bathrobes or slippers in the rooms. But in any case, this option is very fond of our tourists. in June for Standart room you will have to pay 40 USD, in July - 50 USD, in August - 70 USD, in September - 40 USD. The pricing logic is clear. The most expensive time to rest is in August, and this is not surprising.

Another noteworthy hotel was built by order of the Dinev brothers next to the yacht club (zone 1). Hotel Palace Marina Dinevi offers guests not only the standard set of services of a five-star hotel, but also other pleasant things.

However, here in June you will have to pay about 120 USD per room. Judging by the previous example, in July it will be slightly more expensive, and the highest prices are in August. It should be noted that this is the most elite area in St. Vlas.

What else does the resort offer to its guests? All inclusive hotels. Yes, yes, you heard right. This option will appeal to families with children, as they do not have to wander around with the child in search of a restaurant for lunch or dinner. Given the fact that the city kind of goes down to the sea, and you often have to walk up the hill, the all-inclusive option is not so bad. Although there are so many nice cafes and restaurants around with stunning views, delicious food and live music in the evenings, the temptation to dine every day in a new place is very great.

Also in the city there are a large number of good "three rubles" with small pools and quite hearty breakfasts. Prices start from 30 USD per night with breakfast.

An even more budget option is to rent an apartment with your own kitchen.

You can choose good options for such housing for yourself. You will have to cook breakfast yourself or look into one of the many cafes on the way to the beach. But if you are an early bird, then you should not expect that at 7 or 8 in the morning you will be fed everywhere. Many establishments open from 10-11 am.

Another nuance - the closer to the beach the hotel is located, the more expensive it will cost. The difference will not be very large, but nevertheless it is worth considering. If it’s not a problem for you to walk 15 minutes to the beach, then you can save a little. Just remember that from the beach you have to go uphill. A taut figure is guaranteed here!

What are the prices for holidays

With hotels sorted out, now about other expenses.

Restaurants

Perhaps the highest prices are in restaurants located on the beach and near the yacht club. The average bill per person will be about 20 USD (salad, fish or meat skewers with a side dish and a glass of wine or beer).

Portions are large, so you should not order as in Russia - salad, first, second and dessert. It's not for everyone to eat. The cocktail menu is usually quite rich, prices are in the range of 5-6 USD.

Spa services

In one of the best spas on the coast - Victoria SPA- Prices are quite European level. You'll have to fork out, but it's worth it. As an example, I will give the most common procedures.

  • classic massage 1 hour - about 35 USD;
  • massage in a hammam with foam - about 20 USD;
  • reflexology - 45 USD;
  • mud therapy - about 30 USD;
  • bath with medicinal salts - 25 USD;

Despite the prices, this place is very popular among visitors.

Excursions

There are many travel agencies in Sveti Vlas, where you will be offered tours of interesting places. The historical programs are very diverse, and you can also choose an entertaining trip.

Approximate prices:

  • a walk around Nessebar with lunch - about 3 USD;
  • visiting Sofia, Plovdiv and the Rila Monastery - from 90 USD;
  • a trip to the water park in Sunny Beach - 25 USD;
  • visiting a stud farm, horseback riding, lunch and wine tasting - about 55 USD;
  • fishing on a yacht - from 40 USD.

Of course, you can visit all these places on your own, by car (with the exception of boat trips). But in this case, you will not have a guide.

Main attractions. What to see

Walking around St. Vlas is very pleasant, despite the fact that sometimes you have to go uphill. Walking through the streets past numerous shops with cute knickknacks, you will definitely look into one of them and you won’t leave without a purchase.

Aromas come from the open verandas of restaurants, inhaling which you understand that it's time to refresh yourself. In the city center, many cafes have very beautiful panoramic views of the coast. You sit at a table, admire the roofs of the houses below and the blue of the sea, and your thoughts fly away somewhere far, far away.

On the way to the hotel, be sure to pass through the center, once again admire the Church of St. Blaise, look into the amphitheater - suddenly you are lucky enough to attend a performance that is often held here! Although the city cannot boast of a large number of attractions and museums, it is very cozy, compact, photogenic and very sincere. It seems that you are in a place that is familiar to you since childhood.

There are cities in which you feel like a stranger, superfluous, and there are those where a feeling of calmness is born - as if you came to visit old friends.

Top 5

As I already wrote, the city is not rich in sights, but still they are.

I present to you my Top 5. And I will write more about these places a little lower in the relevant sections.

Beaches. Which is better

In Sveti Vlas, in fact, there are three beaches. The main one is located in the Old Town area. It is divided into paid and free zone. On the first site there are sun loungers with umbrellas (about 4 USD for each item), and on the second one you can enjoy beach holiday on your own cover.

Lifehack for the economical - until 9:00 in the morning and after 17:00 sunbeds can be used absolutely free of charge.

There is paid parking near the beach (about 4-5 USD), where you can leave your car.

Volleyball, basketball and football grounds daily gather here lovers of active pastime.

Two other beaches are located in the yacht club area.

This south beach(South Beach) and Venid Beach(Beach "Venid"). For resort guests Dinevi Resort sun loungers, tents under a canopy and umbrellas are provided free of charge. The rest will have to pay 5 USD each. The beaches are very beautiful, with soft sand and plenty of bars serving chilled cocktails and snacks.

Also right on the beach there are spas, sailing schools for adults and children, water scooter rentals, windsurfing equipment and much more.

Churches and temples. Which are worth a visit

The city has a temple and a church worthy of your attention.

Temple of Athanasius the Great

Outwardly, it does not look at all like a temple or a church. This is an ordinary one-story building with a red tiled roof. Finding it is very easy. The transport ring is located in the very center of the city. Climb 250 meters up from it and see the temple.

Interestingly, it was built during the Turkish dominance, around 1865. There are no bells here, since the Turks forbade their ringing to be carried around the city. Near the temple, a bell tower was recently erected with donations.

Church of St. Blaise

This church is the hallmark of the city. It was built in 2007 on the site of a monastery destroyed by the Turks in the 17th century. Named in honor of the great martyr and patron of the city. The snow-white building with a golden dome is hard to miss, you definitely won’t pass by. From the marina, go up and a little to the right you will see the church building.

Take a look inside, admire the interior decoration and magnificent murals. Two relics are kept in the church: a particle of the cross on which Jesus was crucified, and the relics of St. Blaise. Despite the fact that you are on vacation, remember that the clothes for entering the church must be appropriate.

Museums. Which are worth a visit

If you have some free time, stop by the Motorcycle Museum. It is just one room in which motorcycles are exhibited.

The collection is small, but there are samples from the period of the First and Second World Wars. It must be said that the museum is owned by one person, he is also a guide and a mechanic. Children will be interested.

Often in the Arena amphitheater (which by and large is not a museum, but rather an open-air theater) national dances are held, actors prepare performances and various show programs.

tourist streets

There are only two in the city. First - Tsar Simeon(marked as 1 on the map). It starts at the main square. A large number of restaurants, grocery stores, and souvenir shops are concentrated here. Quite a nice place to walk. By choosing one of the restaurants, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea below.

The second street runs parallel to the marina (number 2). There are also restaurants and brand shops here.

Another nice area for walking is Old city. Tsar Simeon Street is also part of it.

What to see in 1 day

In one day, you can go around St. Vlas up and down, look into churches, walk along the beaches, dine in a restaurant, buy souvenirs, make dozens of beautiful photos. But the city is conducive to a measured, unhurried rest. Therefore, it should be given at least a week. And taking into account the fact that the surroundings of the city are incredibly picturesque and the excursion program is very diverse, you can safely go here for three to four weeks. Of course, depending on how much time you have left.

What to see in the surroundings

Bulgarian village of Bata

It is located 30 kilometers from Burgas and is a very nice place. Here live simple villagers who lead a familiar village lifestyle. Of course, since tourists began to come here en masse, much has begun to look artificial, but nevertheless, this is not scenery, but real rural life.

It should be noted that this is not exactly what we call a village in our understanding. Bata is a tiny cozy town with old cobbled streets, gingerbread houses and even a small water Mill.

Walking along the narrow streets, look into the houses where the woodcarver, the potter or the woman who spins the fabrics work. Souvenir shops with fragrant soap, Bulgarian cosmetics, products of local artisans are also located here. At the entrance to the village in the evenings, guests are treated to rakia (a drink for everyone). Overall, the place definitely deserves attention.

Evksinograd Castle

Located next to Varna, the majestic building includes the castle itself, a huge park, slopes with vineyards and a winery. Here you can wander for a long time along the shady alleys and admire the picturesque views.

Do not miss the opportunity to visit the winery and taste the wines. You can buy a bottle of great Riesling and go on your way.

Sozopol

At 75 kilometers from St. Vlas, there is a wonderful open-air museum city -.

Founded in the II century, it was discovered only in 1972 after a landslide that hit the mountains. His central part recognized as an archaeological reserve. Everything here is really saturated with history: thick stone fragments of walls and arches, narrow streets that are pleasant to walk along.

You can go to the port and visit the small chapel of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, whom sailors consider the patron of the sea. It is he who protects the coast from floods. Sailors leaving for voyages are confident that the waters will be calm and will not pose any danger.

Also take a look at the Thracian Khan house. This building of the 19th century contains household items, national clothes and folklore costumes.

Ravadinovo village

It became famous thanks to the construction of a real palace, which should turn into a luxurious tourist complex. To go here from St. Vlas about 80 kilometers.

It is interesting that construction is underway at the moment, but curious tourists are already allowed inside for 4 USD. Perhaps very soon it will be possible to book a room in this amazing place. For now, just go and see.

Food. What to try

I present to you my hit parade of the most delicious dishes in my opinion.

  • Shkembe chorba. A very rich spicy tripe soup is good to order in the evening or in the cool season.
  • Moussaka. Bulgarian casserole has become my favorite. The filling is very juicy and the ingredients perfectly complement the taste of each other.

    Banitsa. There are many types of it, and you can’t try everything. Inside there can be meat, and vegetables, and cheese, and cottage cheese, there is even a fruit banitsa. Try any, you won't go wrong!

    baked lamb. Not every cafe serves it, because it takes a long time to prepare. But often this tender-tasting meat can be found on the menu. Meat lovers will appreciate it.

  • Kavarma. The dish is simple and hearty - stewed vegetables with meat.
  • Salad Ovcharsky.

Be sure to check out the grocery store and pay attention to the dairy section. Bulgarian ayran, cheese, sour milk, yellow cheese and yoghurts simply have no equal in the price-quality category. Perhaps Swiss dairy products are not inferior in quality, but their price is many times higher. Therefore, we buy and charge the body with beneficial bacteria.

Budget

As a cheap meal, I would advise you to try fast food, which abounds on the streets of the city.

Intermediate level

  • "Admiral";
  • "Gloria Mar";
  • "Siana";
  • Central.

Expensive

  • "Manastira";
  • "Vodenitsa";
  • "Starata Mill";
  • "Triumph" (Russian cuisine);
  • Victorio (fish restaurant);
  • Nar (Georgian cuisine).

Holidays

There are no magnificent celebrations and festivities in the city. The most favorite holiday of the townspeople is Christmas. On the evening of December 24, families sit down at the festive table and spend time in a cozy atmosphere.

Usually the most spectacular events take place in the Marina Dinevi Yacht Club. You need to keep an eye on the poster, since the site is the venue for many fashion events, sailing regattas including.

Safety. What to watch out for

As I already wrote, in Sveti Vlas great attention is paid to the issue of security. However, bags and backpacks should not be left unattended on the beach. I also do not advise taking large sums of money, documents and a lot of equipment when you go to the sea. It is better to leave valuables in a safe for peace of mind. And take enough money to buy fruit, water and a snack.

Walking around the city in the evenings is also absolutely safe. The only thing is that many streets are empty after 22:00 and it becomes a little uncomfortable, although lights are on everywhere.

You can change money at any exchange office - the rate is almost the same everywhere. But it's better to walk around and compare for fun.

Things to do

For nature lovers, guided mountain walks are organized in Sveti Vlas. The length of the route is about 5 kilometers, but sometimes it can change a little. In any case, you will learn about the local flora and fauna, have a great time surrounded by picturesque nature, breathing in the mountain air. If you wish, you can take water and light snacks with you - they will be useful to you during stops. Shoes should be comfortable, beach shoes will not work here.

Recommended for families with children boat trip on a pirate ship.

For an hour and a half, passengers are entertained with contests, songs and dances, and for the kids, a search for "treasures" on the ship is organized. In fact, you will not see anything special during this walk, but it will be interesting for children.

Evenings can be spent in the spa. There are few of them, but they all provide a wide range of services.

And the most important thing to do in St. Vlas is to spend more time by the sea and breathe in the healing air saturated with iodine ions. Your body will thank you!

Shopping and shops

There are few opportunities for shopping in Saint Vlas. This small town, and there are neither large malls nor shopping centers. On the street parallel to the yacht club, there are about a dozen shops with luxury clothing brands. You can take a walk to see, but the prices are average European.

In the Old Town you can find many small shops and shops where they sell clothes as well.

The best supermarket is called Mercury.

Here you can buy absolutely everything - from food, alcohol and ending with cosmetics. Prices for cosmetics are slightly lower than in tourist shops.

Another supermarket is located next to the amphitheater. It is called "Arena" and also has a good selection of products, wines and cosmetics.

Bars. Where to go

Bars in St. Vlas, as you already understood, one or two and miscalculated. But still they are, and a couple have become my favorites. First of all, I would advise you to look at La Cubanita.

Incendiary Latin music is played here in the evenings, the owner often invites local performers. In the season, after dark, there are a lot of people here, and it will be problematic to find a free table. But why have a table at the bar if you are not going to have a full dinner? The main fun happens at the bar. Plus, the cocktails here are really good.

The next place - noti- during the day it works as a restaurant, and in the evening it turns into a bar. The DJ puts on tracks, young people have fun, but there is no wild fun and dancing on the tables.

The next two bars are next to Marina Dinevi. This " Rococo" And " Magneto". It is a completely European-level institution where live music and the latest world news are played.

Perhaps this review of the bars can be completed. Each of them is worthy of attention if you like this type of holiday. As a bonus, most establishments have outdoor terraces, where it is very pleasant to be on warm evenings.

Clubs and nightlife

There is only one nightclub in Sveti Vlas, located next to the yacht pier - Planet Yacht. It is divided into zones: yes open part, where a light breeze blows pleasantly, there is a lounge area where you can comfortably sit down with a hookah on soft sofas, admiring the lights of Sunny Beach in the distance. There is also a dedicated area for the dance floor. In general, everything here is saturated with an atmosphere of laid-back luxury. DJs play good music - it won't be boring.

Cocktails here, by Bulgarian standards, are expensive, but the club was built with a focus on wealthy visitors.

There is no dress code, but when going to a party, exclude shorts and beachwear - otherwise you will feel like a black sheep.

extreme sports

All water sports opportunities are concentrated on the beach next to Marina Dinevi. There is a school of windsurfing and yachting. Guests are offered to fly on a paraglider (from 30 USD) or ride a jet ski (about 15 USD). All entertainment is on high level: experienced instructors, good equipment and excellent conditions.

Souvenirs. What to bring as a gift

From St. Vlas, you can bring the entire standard list of souvenirs that are sold in Bulgaria. I would also add on my own that a bottle of wine or brandy, which is produced in small wineries in the vicinity of the city, would be a good gift.

The wines here are of really amazing quality and can easily compete with many European producers.

How to move around the city

Sveti Vlas is a very small town, and the most convenient way to get around it is on foot. However, to explore the surroundings, you can not do without a taxi, a regular bus or even a rental car. I will discuss these modes of transport in more detail below.

Taxi. What features exist

Taxi is the most comfortable and expensive way to travel. It is better not to ask the hotel reception to call you a car, but stock up on business cards of local taxi drivers or look up the phone numbers of local companies on the Internet in advance.

Taxi fares from city to city or from one resort to another are mostly fixed. They are indicated in the price list, which is in the passenger compartment of the car or sometimes lies under the windshield (for example: a trip to Golden Sands will cost about 65 USD, in - 40 USD). If you need to get to a certain meta, a supermarket or a club, the driver will turn on the meter.

It would seem that the counter is the most honest way to calculate the cost. But sometimes “miracles” happen, and different taxi companies charge you different amounts for the same distance. This happens because the cost of one kilometer in each taxi is different. They sometimes differ significantly. Therefore, you should first find out the price per kilometer and only then get into the car.

Otherwise, a taxi is a very convenient solution. If only because you don’t have to pay for parking or look for where to leave the car. Also, if you don't have a driver's license, then this is your option.

Buses

Buses are not needed to get around Sveti Vlas, since the whole city can be explored on foot. The only thing you have to climb from the coast to the center.

If you would like to visit neighboring resort Elenite or Sunny Beach, then buses No. 5 and No. 8 will come in handy:

  • Bus number 5 passes through main highway city, making several stops. His route: St. Vlas - Sunny Beach -.
  • Bus number 8 has more than long route: Elenite - Saint Vlas - Sunny Beach - . It is very convenient that for a nominal fee (about 1 USD) you can drive to Nessebar on your own and spend the whole day there, and then return back on the same route.

Transport rental

The most convenient option for traveling around St. Vlas. Convenient because a lot of interesting things are located in the mountains, and just for the sake of beautiful landscapes, you should definitely take a ride there. You can also travel to nearby beaches. This is especially true for families with children, since in such cases you have to take especially a lot of things.

In Saint Vlas, you can find several companies offering car rental. Compare prices, see what models they can offer you, read all the conditions carefully and hit the road! All these manipulations can be carried out via the Internet. For example, using .

It is better to take a car from large companies than from small local ones. The fact is that well-known distributors use pan-European insurance, while conditions for a local company may differ, and not in your favor.

In order to rent a car, you need:

  • driver's license;
  • international passport;
  • driving experience of 3 years (if it is less, you will have to pay an additional amount).

Most companies provide you with a car with:

  • unlimited mileage;
  • insurance;
  • VAT included in the price;
  • vignette.

Separately paid:

  • CASCO;
  • the ability to control the car to the second driver;
  • Baby chair.

As for getting around the city by car, there are some important rules to be observed:

  • dipped beam should be on at any time of the day;
  • a child under 12 years old and up to 1.5m tall cannot ride in the front passenger seat;
  • the driver is forbidden to talk on the phone while holding it in his hands. Only wireless communication is allowed.

Speed Limit:

  • in the settlement - 50 km / h;
  • outside locality- 90 km / h;
  • on the motorway - 140 km / h.

It is important that the driver must pay the fine on the spot. That is, go to the nearest bank and make a transfer. Also, the inspector can take the rights from the violator and send them later by mail.

Vacation with children

Sveti Vlas is a great place to relax with children.

Firstly, the sea is quite shallow near the coast, and the entrance to it is gentle. It is comfortable for children to swim here, since there are practically no waves.

Secondly, children will not be bored. There are plenty of water activities on the beaches: riding a "banana", on "cheesecakes" and the like.

Thirdly, restaurants often have a children's menu. And if you cook yourself, then quality products are sold in the shops, whether it be milk or meat. The abundance of fresh vegetables and fruits is worth talking about.

As I noticed during my vacation, families with children often come to St. Vlas for several summer months. They rent apartments by the sea and enjoy life, stock up on health and vitamins for the year ahead.

Ski holidays

There are excellent ski resorts in Bulgaria, to name just a few:

  • Vitosha.

They are located at a distance of 300-450 kilometers from St. Vlas. I think that if you plan a winter vacation in the mountains, you can easily combine it with a holiday in St. Vlas. Having allocated at least a couple of days for this wonderful town, you will gain strength and breathe in the healing air of these places.

By renting a car, this distance (between ski resort and the coast) can be overcome without problems.

, .

Dinevi Resort and St. Vlas start the new season 2014 with innovations and bold ideas!

New sidewalks, beautiful wrought iron street lamps, interesting landscaping, an expanded network of shops, and, in general, a more accessible and comfortable environment - all this can be found among the innovations of the city, which celebrated its May 2nd holiday with a big concert.
The establishments and boutiques of Marina Dinevi are well prepared for the start of the summer season. The new piano bar and restaurant, on the site of "Magnito/Rococo" bears the name "NOTI" and covers most of the second floor of the "Marina", where in separate corners are decorated: a restaurant with a show kitchen and a piano bar. "NOTI" and "PLANET YACHTS" are two symbols of the Marina's nightlife, do not miss the karaoke bar in the "Diamond" complex.
"Gellateria", or the parlor of Italian ice cream and confectionery, is a new establishment on the site of the Nar restaurant, next to the pool of a five-star hotel. Innovative salon concept - part of the ice cream will be prepared here on site.
Next to the restaurant "POSEIDON" with a characteristic "purple" atmosphere, a new restaurant "SAMBARIS" has been opened, which offers specialties of traditional Latvian cuisine.
Casino "Xo" will open its doors at the end of June, the casino is located on the second floor of the hotel "Palace-Marina Dinevi".
Guests should definitely visit the new store, which offers goods of well-known brands (near the bar "La Playa"), here for the first time will be offered for sale: T-shirts, panama hats, towels and other goods with the brand "Marina Dinevi" and "Dinevi Resort". Limited edition designer toilets and bags will also be offered at the Palace Marina Dinevi Hotel. The debut series is interesting because the accents are national motifs in the actual cut and materials, though only in the ladies' version.
This summer the beaches on both sides of Marina Dinevi will be presented in the famous Caribbean style. Both beaches have a water sports center, as well as children's outdoor centers for the game "Poco Loco". The news is a large water park in the sea, next to the barrier "Marina". On the sea area of 20 acres, there are inflatable slides and attractions with paid access, suitable for children and adults. For lovers of extreme sensations, there is a new offer of the water sports center - a fly jet, here guests are required to be trained for 3 hours by experienced instructors before they are allowed to 'fly' on their own.
Restaurant "Melnitsa" is a new restaurant on the beach, in the place "Kutsia Rak", with traditional dishes and drinks, live music and a cozy marine interior.
And this year, everyone is welcome on board the Patriot yacht - the best wooden yacht for group trips in the bay, with a fish barbecue included in the program. The yacht can accommodate up to 20 people, has 5 cabins and a well-trained crew. For 4 or 8 hours "Patriot" offers you an independent walk around the bay, sometimes accompanied by a flock of dolphins. You can rent a yacht to celebrate a wedding, birthday or just to have fun with friends.

Description

One of the resort towns in Bulgaria - St. Vlas - is located 3 km from Sunny Beach, 10 km from Nessebar and 40 km from Burgas Airport.

One of the youngest Bulgarian resorts, offering its guests accommodation in modern hotel complexes and aparthotels. A few years ago, the largest yacht port of the coast was opened here. St. Vlas offers climatic conditions and healthy air. Surrounded by the sea, on the one hand, and a mountain range, on the other, the resort has a healing microclimate that favorably affects the condition of the bronchi and lungs.

Despite the small size of the resort, there are a large number of restaurants with a wide variety of cuisines, bars with magnificent panoramic views of the resort of Sunny Beach and the town of Nessebar, as well as shops and nightclubs.

Tours to St. Vlas are perfect for lovers of historical sights and cultural leisure.

One of the key attractions of the city is the temple of Athanasius the Great, built in 1864, as well as the churches of St. Andrew and Blachernae.

In the open amphitheater of the Arena complex, musical programs, theatrical performances, interesting shows and humorous evenings are organized throughout the tourist season, and concerts, retro motorcycle parades, fashion shows, beauty contests, presentations and other events are held in the port of Marina Dinevi.

In Sveti Vlas, the issue of public order is taken very seriously, as there are villas of important government people and there is a yacht port. Therefore, on most streets of the resort town there is round-the-clock video surveillance.
