Kuchugury beach. Kuchugury (Krasnodar Territory): rest, photos, reviews. The village of Kuchugury Krasnodar Territory: photos of the Sea of Azov, beach and nature

The village with the funny name Kuchugury is located on the shores of the Sea of Azov. This year we finally got to Kuchugur and really regretted that we didn't do it sooner! The fact is that rest in Kuchugury is like visiting your beloved aunt in the village. Private houses, lazy chickens near the houses, all the streets in flowers and fruit trees and a huge beach - that's what Kuchugury is!

If you need a quiet vacation in the countryside, if you are tired of the noise of the metropolis, from the hustle and bustle, from the crowds of people, if you are a fan of the cartoon about Prostokvashino, rest in Kuchugury is the best! Life here goes slowly, no one pays attention to what you are wearing, and how thick the chain around your neck is, there is enough space for everyone on the beach, and beer in the cafe.

But if you dream of a promenade in the evenings and you have at least 4 evening dresses that you must definitely “walk” on vacation, you will not like Kuchugury. People come here not to have fun in a civilized way, but beyond the sea, the sun, fruits and a quiet family vacation.

Video about kuchugurs

Overview of rest in Kuchugury:

Are you in Taman? Go to the "sand mounds". In Ukrainian it sounds - Kuchugury. The beaches in this village of the peninsula are good, in the amount of four. But they are known throughout the Krasnodar Territory. Why this happened, we will tell you here.

Central Beach, or "Sand Placer"

The bathing area opens to those who follow along the street. Coastal. There is also an isolated area within the Blue Bay sanatorium and the Priboy cafe. From the streets of Krasnaya and Gagarin to the beach of the village of Kuchugury there are a couple of solid stair descents. The distance occupied by the "Central" is 1 km. Entry into the water here is shallow. The surface consists of sand mixed with small shell rock.

There is something like cabanas, as well as the opportunity to ride a banana, jet ski and "tablet". Aborigines come here with mineral water, corn and pies (for sale). There are several nearby.

Are you very hungry? The nearby cafes offer complex lunches. It remains to mention the local establishments standing. They are - "On Gagarin", "Old Fortress", "Sea Breeze" and "House by the Sea". You can also live in the outbuildings of the usual one, and it costs the same, but many, negotiating without intermediaries, manage to save money.

Embankment of Primorskaya street

This "artery" of the village continues the street. Coastal in the southeast direction, although it begins at the northwestern end of the village, bypassing the street behind, and goes much southeast already in the form of a primer, being the longest passage of the settlement. On its left side you will see the widest strip of sand in Kuchugury. This is the second beach of the local quarters.

Its length is more than 1.5 km - this is the entire southeastern part of the village. Consists of a sand mound. But closer to the water's edge there are a couple of strips of large shell rock. The entry here is shallow. In terms of relief, the surface is slightly two-staged. In some places you have to go down to the sea from dunes 2 meters high, densely overgrown with grass.

Beach recreation is bordered by the Blue Bay health resort, the private sector, Emelya attractions, the Azov Riviera, Azov Coast and Azov Pearl complexes. Sometimes (during the "off season") the place becomes a haven for naturists, setting up their tents here and holding photo shoots against the backdrop of the sea.

Here you can also really see picnic fans, fans of buggy driving, sailing, bathing a four-legged pet and snorkeling. The last difference between the “seaside embankment” is the huge wastelands that are turned into a field for team games. It will be easier for you to get to the beach "On Primorskaya" already from local attractions.

The beach towards the village Za Rodinu

Looking at hundreds of photos of the beaches in the village of Kuchugury, you will notice that the coast to the southeast of the named settlement has a more complex relief. However, from each hillock there is a quite tolerable dirt exit, so come.

The coastline between Kuchugurami and Za Rodinu has a quite convenient recreation, located closer to the first of these settlements. You can drive here through an earthen road crossing an almost dry stream. Further, your eyes will see the last turn towards the coast (wags along the next stream).

Source — Yuriy Antonov © Google Photos

It is he who will lead you to the wild beach, which stretches for 3 km - to the watchman's house, guarding the vineyards, which already belong to the village of Za Rodinu. The width of the coast at its widest point barely reaches 25 m. However, the sand here is excellent - clean, in terms of the absence of debris and a low percentage of shell rock.

If you drive another 2.5 km, then you will find yourself where the Tizdar mud volcano stands. A feature of the described beach are steep sections of the coast. But even here a dozen paths have been laid to the sea. In some places, steps were even cut down in the ground. The described wild recreation is a favorite place for car tourists.

Beach at Cape Pekla

The location is located 2 km northwest of the last street of the village. Kuchugury. We are talking about a cape where the mud volcano Spit is located, similar to a lake or a swamp. The sandy zone here is cramped, the shore quickly turns into an earthen surface with rich emerald dressing: on soils fertilized by sulfide mud of the local hills, any grass grows well.

Tents can be placed right on it, but not near the volcano. A dirt road leads to the cape, into which the street passes. Primorskaya. She is well travelled. The beach itself has a gentle slope, and the local water area has a slight depth.

Beaches on the map of the village of Kuchugury

Here are such comfortable beaches in a picturesque village. Kuchugurs are generally famous for "volcanoes", "savagery", "narrowness" and "hilly relief". So say the reviews of holidaymakers who have visited the northwestern (Azov) Taman. and guest houses are also here - and even in a large assortment. Accommodation prices are small - come and appreciate the local service. In conclusion, we offer a short video clip about the beaches of the village, enjoy watching!

The settlement has become widely known as a resort area relatively recently. Large hotel complexes have not yet appeared (and are unlikely to appear) there, so the entire influx of vacationers falls on small guest houses and mini-hotels, of which there are a great many. There are also several sanatoriums, boarding houses and campsites, but they are all modern buildings and run by small businesses. So the Soviet “unobtrusive” service cannot be found there. True, the services do not shine with special sophistication. Everything is at the level necessary for a comfortable stay. Rest in Kuchugury at prices for 2020 can be attributed to the middle cost segment. The resorts of Azov are less expensive compared to the same Caucasus, and Kuchugury is no exception. Although in the table of ranks of the Taman resorts, the village belongs to the most expensive.

How to get there

The village is located on the coast of the Temryuk Bay in the northwestern part of the Taman Peninsula. The nearest neighbors are the famous resort villages of Peresyp and Golubitskaya. To a large city - Temryuk - about 35 km, and to Anapa - about 70 km. To swim in two seas at once, you need to get to the Kerch Strait, which is located 25 km from the village.

You can get to Kuchugur in various ways, depending on which settlement in Russia you are building the route from. Some people prefer to go through Temryuk, which has an active bus service with many cities in the region. Those who get to the peninsula by rail can take a ticket to the stations:

  • Krymsk;
  • tunnel;
  • Slavyansk-on-Kuban;

and from there to move to the village by minibus.

If you fly by plane, then you need to choose between Krasnodar or Anapa. Through Anapa it is easy to go by railway.

general information

Kuchugury is a settlement that is part of the Fontalovsky rural settlement in the Temryuk district. The number of local residents does not exceed 2500 people. The main specialization is the service of vacationers. In addition to traditional mini-hotels and boarding houses, the village has a children's health center "Iskra". For medical procedures, local silts from a mud volcano located on Cape Pekla, a few km from the village, are used. Rest in Kuchugury belongs to the medical and health-improving, and is recommended for different age groups.

Kuchugurs appeared on the map in Soviet times. The official date of foundation of the village is 1924. As a resort area, the village began to be used relatively recently. Prior to that, the main activity was agriculture, which is still quite developed today. The village got its name from the Ukrainian word "kuchugury", which can be translated as snowdrifts. True, we are not talking about snowdrifts, but about sand dunes. According to the second version, the name comes from the word "kuchugi", i.e. pressed caviar, which is abundant in Azov.

Things to do on vacation

Coming to rest in Kuchugury, it should be remembered that apart from the sea, sun and beaches, there are no special entertainments in the village itself. But many sightseeing tours around Taman and even on the Caucasian coast are organized, which make it possible to compensate for this. The only thing you must visit first of all is the Plevak mud volcano, which is on Cape Pekla near the village. An interesting natural phenomenon, especially if you have not encountered this before. To visit the "cool" water rides, we advise you to go to the neighboring Golubitskaya, to the Amazon water park - the largest in Azov. There is also a crocodile farm nearby, which is worth stopping by. If you want to learn more about the life of the Kuban Cossacks, then go straight to the Ataman ethnographic museum complex. Earlier historical periods from the time of Tmutarakan are presented in the Taman Archaeological Museum, which is also not difficult to get into.

Beaches

The beaches of Kuchugur are completely sandy, which distinguishes the village from other resort areas. They stretch along the entire coast of the Temryuk Bay, connecting with the beaches of Peresyp and Priazovsky. In the area of the village coastline, the beaches are equipped with a developed service system. The bottom is very flat, the water warms up quite well, while, due to constant water exchange, it does not stagnate and is quite clean. In the direction of Priazovsky there are beaches with several estuaries and mud springs. On Cape Pekla, where the main mud volcano is located, there is no equipped beach, but there are several places to access the sea.
