How Russian citizens can emigrate to Poland for permanent residence. How to move to Poland for permanent residence.

07.06.2016

General points to keep in mind when planning your move to permanent residence in Poland. Issues of obtaining a visa, examining your body, solving financial problems, finding a job, choosing a place of residence.

Hello everyone, dear friends, Nastya is with you again, this is the Anasty in Poland channel.

Today I invite you to watch another video on the topic of life in Poland and moving to this country. The other day, a spectator sent me an interesting letter, and I decided to answer it in video format, firstly, because it takes a long time to write, and secondly, because this question is very, very often asked. I will say in advance that I will voice my opinion, which may not coincide with your opinion or the experience of other people, so it is your right to trust my opinion or not. I never claim to be the ultimate truth.

What are your chances of immigration?

So, Natalia writes that “we want to move to Poland with our future husband. What is the best way to do this, how to find a job, how much money do you need to move?”

I would like every person, before going to Poland, to realize why he is doing this, for what purpose he wants to go to this country, because depending on what the answer will be this person to this question, it will then be easier for him to settle in Poland or, on the contrary, somehow change, revise his plans.

If you want to move to Poland, because it would be better to live here, more money, then this is not the option. Poland is not a rich country, here you will not find large incomes, but you can earn exactly as much as is enough for a normal life.

Another reason why I would not advise moving to Poland is that many people see this country as a springboard in order to move to another, more developed country. European state. I would not waste time on this, because it will take a lot of years to process documents in Poland, to obtain citizenship of an EU member state; and time, you know, goes by, and we are not getting younger, that is, you will simply waste it living in Poland and considering it as an intermediate stage. Still, it is better to try to immediately immigrate to where you want to live in the end.

What then is the option? Why come here to live permanently? Poland is suitable for those people who want to live in a state of law, in a civilized European monocultural society, which is very close in its mentality to Ukrainian, Russian, Belarusian. Of all European countries Poland is the closest country to us in terms of mentality. I have talked about this more than once in my videos. And I know that some will disagree and say that the Poles are different and the mentality is different here, but these differences are minimal. Of course, this is a different country, it cannot be a second Ukraine or Belarus, so it is natural that everything is a little different in Poland; but nevertheless it is closest to us, and in Poland it is easiest for us to assimilate.

If you have accurately answered this internal question for yourself (why exactly do you want to move to Poland?), if this is your final destination, if you want to move here for permanent residence, and not for temporary work, then the next step will be - again but I buzzed everyone's ears about it - learning the language. Please, first of all, start learning the language at home: go to courses, study with a tutor; maybe study on your own, but it needs to be studied beforehand. In Poland, you won't have time for that. Even if you plan to learn the language somehow at work, in society, believe me, you will learn it at a basic, everyday, very primitive level. And there is not always a guarantee that you will learn and memorize words by ear correctly. The next point is related to language learning.

Before moving to Poland, you need to understand what you want to do here. If you are applying for some kind of job that is more difficult than ordinary physical labor, then you will need to prove knowledge of the Polish language, that is, pass a test, at least at level B1.

Of course, if you want to go to Poland and do the simplest work that does not require any qualifications, but only physical labor, then, in principle, you will not need to know the language. But if you want to stay in Poland on a permanent basis, you need to look for a job according to your level of education, and for this you will also need to study Polish language.

Further, when you are in the process of processing documents, you must again have a plan for exactly what documents you want to go to Poland: on the basis of Polish origin on the Pole's Card, or on work visa, or student.

So, you draw up documents, learn the language, and I would highly advise you to take care of your health and everything connected with it. Medicine in Poland differs from medicine in Ukraine and quite significantly: in Poland it is very expensive, it is insurance, and the quality of medical services provided does not always correspond to their cost. Therefore, before you go, do a complete examination of the body, be sure to go to the dentist - everything that concerns your body, health, you need to do at home. Believe me, it will be much easier, cheaper and then save you a lot of problems. If you have any health problems, you can solve it at home and postpone your departure. It will be much worse if similar problems come up here in Poland.

As for finding a job, I have already touched on this topic a little: it all depends on how you will travel and what kind of job you are applying for. If you want to travel exclusively on a work visa, then you need to look for work from Ukraine, contact some Ukrainian or Polish employment agencies, find an employer, make documents and come to Poland.

If you have the opportunity to open a visa without an invitation to work, you can find a job upon arrival in Poland, again, either through agencies or on your own through ads on the Internet. There are a lot of videos on how to find a job in Poland; I am not strong in this topic and have spoken about this more than once, so I will not repeat myself.

Regarding the question of how much money you need to move, I will say that it all depends on where you are going and how much you earn. I would highly advise you to take with you the amount that is enough for you in your country, city for 2-3 months of living, so that this amount includes rent, food, travel expenses, some services and unforeseen expenses; that is, a reserve of money for 2 - 3 months - this is the minimum, because as soon as you arrive in Poland, you will need to rent an apartment (and this is the fee for the first month, plus kaucja 'deposit', i.e. double payment), and it’s also not a fact that you will find a job very quickly, and it’s clear that from the first working day no one will give you any advances, so you need to have money for some time.

If you are traveling to metropolitan areas (such as Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw or the Tricity), of course, you will need a little more money than if you are going to smaller cities. But on average, everything again depends on your personal preferences: someone, for example, can live quietly in a rented room, while someone needs a separate 3-room apartment in the city center with beautiful view to the park; that is, you understand that this is a slightly different level of expenses. But on average, your expenses for 2-3 months of life in any part of your country will be approximately comparable to expenses in a similar place in Poland.

Even before your arrival, I would, of course, advise you to plan what things you will take with you. On the one hand, do not take anything superfluous, on the other hand, do not forget anything important. Regarding things: I will leave links for you to my interview on the Alex Life channel ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXleTGibbsg ; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfTygAw-CU4), we recorded this conversation in the summer, and there it was just about our curiosities with my brother, what we brought and what not, so I won’t repeat myself.

Here, in fact, is approximately the plan of action that I outlined and followed when we moved to Poland, and which I would advise you to adhere to. It must be understood that moving permanent place residence is a lengthy process, it does not take place in a month or two, you need to prepare, and preparation can even take a year or two. It is necessary to complete all the affairs that you have in your country, put everything in order, and this can also take certain time. Try not to leave behind any debts so that nothing pulls you back like an anchor.

Perhaps this is all I wanted to say on this occasion. Hope my answer is helpful. if you have personal experience moving, please share it in the comments, tell us how you prepared, how much money you took with you for the first time. And, in general, let's communicate, as always.

Thank you for your time, for your attention, and see you soon!

Many residents of Russia, and especially Ukraine and Belarus, are now interested in life in Poland. Most often, our compatriots try to find a job abroad. Often, having found a job, people stay there for a permanent place of residence. Where today are most willing to accept labor migrants from of Eastern Europe? Of course, where cultural and historical ties are closest. One such country is the Republic of Poland.

How to leave for Poland, what methods exist for this, as well as the conditions in the Republic of Poland for immigrants - that's what Ukrainians, Russians, Belarusians who decide to seek their fortune in Europe are interested in today.

Reasons for the popularity of modern Poland

Republic of Poland (such official name of this country) is currently extremely popular among the inhabitants of Ukraine. Belarusians are in second place in the perception of Poland as one of the most preferred countries, and residents of Russia are in third. Many people dream of getting permanent residence in Poland. Why is this country so attractive for representatives of Eastern Europe?

Today, immigration to Poland is in demand for several reasons, namely:

  • linguistic proximity;
  • no difficulties in obtaining a residence permit;
  • the country's membership in the EU;
  • stable level of the economy;
  • similar mentality.

The Poles are in many ways similar to the inhabitants of Belarus, Russian subjects, Ukrainians. This similarity is primarily due to a common (or closely similar) mentality and a single language group. Our compatriots, leaving for the territory of Poland (traveling to Poland), very quickly begin to speak Polish, since this language is in many ways similar to Ukrainian and Russian. The same applies to Belarusians. The value orientations and worldview of the Poles are also very similar to ours. All this makes Poland a very understandable and almost kindred country.

In addition, the Republic of Poland is part of the European Union. This enables its subjects to move freely and without restrictions throughout the Schengen area. For many people, emigration to Poland becomes a way to feel like a real European. Since, compared to many other European countries, the Polish standard of living is low, the situation becomes doubly attractive - after all, Russians, Belarusians, Ukrainians can not only work here, but also save money for a rainy day.

Ways to move to Poland

There are several ways to leave Russia, Ukraine, Belarus for Poland in order to then obtain Polish citizenship. Each of them is quite common and has received extensive practice.

You can use the following schemes:

  • moving to Poland due to marriage;
  • conducting own business in this country;
  • studying at a Polish university;
  • repatriation to Poland;
  • labor immigration with obtaining a residence permit.

The easiest option to make a trip to Poland is to marry a Polish citizen. In this case, you get a residence permit for two years, and then permanent residence in Poland. It is noteworthy that at the same time you can obtain Polish citizenship no earlier than in 7-8 years. However, all these years it is not necessary to permanently reside in the country. Of course, such conditions can attract many adventurers and a better life. Therefore, the country's authorities are trying to analyze the marriages of their subjects with foreigners. If immigration to Poland turned out to be a consequence of a fictitious marriage, and this fact turns out to be proven, then there can be no question of obtaining permanent residence. Moreover, such a person will be banned from entering the Schengen countries for several years, and he himself will be deported from Poland.

Young people from Russia and Ukraine who want to get to Europe for further residence there can also use the training scheme at a Polish institute. This option is good because you have the opportunity to raise your education to the European level, and then find a job in one of the European countries.

Having entered a Polish university, you can get a student visa, and it, in turn, allows you to count on employment and the provision of a residence permit. However, it should be borne in mind that leaving for permanent residence in Poland on the basis of the fact of education is the prerogative of student age. The older the person, the more difficult it is for him to use this option.

Regardless of the fact that the level of tuition fees in Polish universities is low, such education for foreigners is exclusively paid - free educational programs are not provided for them. Most often, for admission to an educational institution, citizens of other states will not need to take entrance exams. If your task is to obtain permanent residence in Poland, then you can take advantage of language courses. Those who undergo such training can expect to be granted a residence permit.

Own business in Poland

An alternative to marriage and education is business immigration to Poland. Many citizens of Russia and other CIS countries prefer this method in order to move to the Republic of Poland. Opening your own business and, as a result, paying taxes to the Polish budget, gives excellent chances for obtaining permanent residence in Poland. best schemes in this situation are the following:

  • company registration;
  • becoming a member of the board of an existing company;
  • purchase of a ready-made company.

Each of these methods becomes an opportunity to obtain official permission to conduct business. On the basis of this permission, a businessman who decides to leave for Poland for permanent residence subsequently receives a residence permit. Therefore, this method is chosen by many residents of Russia and Belarus, who have decided to move to the Republic of Poland with their families.

You should not think that a citizen of the CIS or Russia, who opened his own business in one of the Polish cities, automatically becomes a citizen of this country. First, it will take several months to complete the necessary documentation and obtain permission for temporary residence. It should also be taken into account that in order to achieve this goal, you will need start-up capital, starting from 16 thousand dollars. It is this amount (when transferring 50,000 zlotys to Polish currency) that is needed for the authorized capital. If the level of the amount is less, it will not work to open a company.

The residence permit can be renewed after one year. At the same time, stability and high level income is a strong indication that a company is prosperous. This will allow you to expect that later you will easily receive permanent residence and even be able to be considered an EU resident with long-term conditions.

However, there are nuances. As business emigration to Poland becomes more and more common, today there is an increase in shell companies. They are opened only in order to work here officially in the future, but without doing their own business. Thus, there are more and more front companies on the territory of the Republic of Poland, and the authorities have already announced that they will complicate the rules according to which visitors from the CIS open their own business.

Repatriation and employment in Poland

Since many Poles leave their country for other EU countries in order to earn higher wages, labor immigrants from Eastern Europe arrive here instead. If you are not of the right age to study, have not married a Polish citizen and are not going to open a company, then the answer to the question of how to leave for Poland will be employment here with a further possibility of a residence permit.

For those who want to find a job, it is not necessary to have high qualifications. As a rule, the country experiences a shortage of laborers, nurses, social workers, as well as people associated with blue-collar jobs. It is almost impossible to get a good office job for people who come from Russia or Ukraine. In order for employment and life in Poland to develop successfully, it is necessary to speak Polish fluently, as well as to know Polish law.

We can travel to the territory of the Republic of Poland on a work visa, which is sent either by a recruiting company or by the employer himself. This visa can be extended and then replaced by a residence permit.

Finally, there is such a type of relocation as repatriation to Poland. This method is suitable for those who have or had relatives among the Poles. To resort to this scheme and make a trip to Poland, you need to officially prove the fact of your Polish origin. As relatives are considered the parents of a person, as well as their ancestors. The decision on whether to issue a repatriation visa for entry depends on the Polish consulate.

If you have blood relatives of Polish origin, you can get a Pole card. It gives almost all the same rights as for any Polish citizen, with the only difference that you will not be able to vote. In this situation, a visitor from Russia gets the opportunity to use free medical care, have a high level of income and feel like a European.

In recent years, more and more residents of the post-Soviet space are thinking about how to go to poland. And this is not surprising, because the standard of living in the EU countries is much higher than in the CIS. The first barrier that appears along the way is the choice of a specific country. Each of them has its own peculiarities of migration legislation. Poland is very popular among our compatriots.

Before you leave, you need to set specific goals for such a move. – a very attractive option, but after its accession to the Schengen area migration legislation has become more severe and requires strict enforcement of the law. Otherwise, the doors to this country may be closed for you forever. There are several main ways of legal migration:

  • marriage in Poland;
  • Opening a business in Poland with obtaining a business visa in the future;
  • Official employment;
  • Getting an education in Poland.

Each of these items has its own nuances and features.

How to emigrate to Poland from Ukraine?

Due to the difficult political and economic situation in Ukraine, many in this country began to think about how to move to Poland from Ukraine. In 2015 alone, the number of migrants from Ukraine increased by 60%. The main reason is this a sharp decline standard of living and the depreciation of the national currency.

In this regard, the majority of Ukrainians who decide to leave choose Poland. There are several reasons for this:

  • Proximity of the country;
  • Significant government support for business;
  • Significant simplification of the rules for issuing a work permit;
  • The proximity of the language to Russian and Ukrainian;
  • Accommodation prices in Poland are much lower than in other EU countries.

Considering all these factors, it becomes clear why the majority of Ukrainians choose this particular country.

Labor migration to Poland

Registration of legal labor migration is a multi-stage process, and before how to go to Poland for work, avoid the following mistakes, which are often made by those who are going to legally work in this country:

  • Never type your cover letter on a computer. Proficiency in Polish is one of the most important criteria by which employers evaluate a candidate;
  • The size of the desired salary should be discussed directly with the employer himself when hiring you, and not earlier, otherwise it will be considered rude;
  • Be sure to show the level of Polish language proficiency.

The employer submits an application stating why you should be hired for the job. In case of a positive answer, you will be issued a work visa for 2 years (then it is extended), you can get it at the Polish consulate in your country. And here again, it all depends on what your goal is: registration for a temporary or permanent job.

If you were hired for a temporary job and did it well, then you can safely turn to the employer for recommendations. Later, when applying for a job, you will be able to provide contacts of clients who will confirm your qualifications.

When applying for a permanent job, you will have to solve a difficult task. First, as mentioned earlier, it is not necessary to discuss the size of the desired salary ahead of time, but it is necessary to find out the wage rates. This is necessary in order not to scare off the employer with high prices, and so that, by calling low price, do not take away part of the potential income. Show that you are the one he needs.

How to get permanent residence in Poland?

There are different recommendations for how to go to live in Poland. The main one is to get a residence permit. The basis for this is a permanent residence card (karta pobytu). It certifies the identity during the stay in the republic and gives the right to cross the border without issuing a visa. Here are just a few of the benefits it provides:

  • Ability to travel within the Schengen area for three months;
  • When the card is valid, you can not extend the visa;
  • It is legal to work in Poland without additional permits;
  • Purchase and registration of real estate for yourself;
  • Possibility to issue a car;
  • Obtaining a loan from a bank, depending on the requirements and the period of validity of the permit;
  • Opportunity to obtain citizenship.

But to get all the documents, you need the appropriate grounds. It can be business immigration, marriage, study. There is another way to obtain permanent residence - the law of repatriation. According to it, if one of your parents was of Polish nationality in your family, and you are a person of Polish origin, you can get a repatriation visa in order to move to a permanent place of residence. In this case, you receive government assistance. Knowledge of the language is important.

How to get an education in Poland?

Many immigrants from the CIS countries today are thinking about how to go to study in Poland. The universities of Krakow, Warsaw, Poznan, Wroclaw and Lodz are very popular. It is possible to study both in Polish and in English language. Moreover, studying in English provides additional benefits. In this case, you get a Polish and British diploma.

Polish diplomas are quoted in all European countries, as they comply with international standards. Graduates will have the opportunity to find a good job not only in Poland, but also in other countries of the world. Also, study guarantees obtaining a residence permit.

Admission to Polish universities does not require passing entrance exams, except for medical universities. One of the main advantages of studying in Poland is that you can apply after school. In other European countries, you must first study for 1-2 years at home. At the initial stage, basic knowledge of the language is needed, but this is not an acute problem, since Polish language courses always operate at the university. To begin with, it is important to understand the interlocutor, and with this knowledge it is already possible to go to courses at least 4 weeks in advance. Many universities design the curriculum in such a way that foreign students can improve their knowledge of the Polish language at the same time. To enroll in the first year of the documents, it is enough to provide a certificate or a bachelor's degree (for admission to the magistracy).

Emigration to Poland for education or internships in world-class companies is considered a great opportunity for people who are in search of their life purpose. Thanks to an excellent start, they can count on a full-fledged move to any corner of Europe.

The building of the Polish Bolshoi Theater

There are several ways to emigrate and obtain permanent residence in Poland according to the legislative framework:

  • enroll in a local educational institution;
  • find an employer
  • interethnic marriage;
  • investment in the economy.

Some decide to try their luck in the hope of obtaining refugee status. Also, those who have close relatives living in the country will be able to leave and obtain a residence permit in Poland.

Immigration to Poland through studies is one of the most worthy ways. Despite affordable prices at universities, an applicant will need an impressive amount to pay for education and living abroad. Various grants and scholarships are provided for students, but the selection for receiving them is quite tough.

Private Academy of Finance and Business in Poland

Polish institutions offer an extensive list of specialties, after studying which the graduate will become a highly qualified specialist and will be able to emigrate for the purpose of employment in any corner of Europe.

Studying is considered a reasonable and promising step for obtaining permanent residence in Poland, which will greatly facilitate living in the country. Students can also work part-time during their studies. Emigration to Poland through employment takes a considerable amount of time. A foreigner has the right to apply for a residence permit after having worked legally in the country for at least 5 years.

Marriage with a foreign national

Marriage to a foreign national in today's times is not surprising. On the territory of Poland, it is allowed to conclude a union from the age of 18; for women, the age threshold can be reduced to 16 years if there are objective reasons. If the fictitious relationship is revealed, the non-resident is subject to deportation. Local legislation does not recognize same-sex marriages and does not grant residence permits in Poland on their basis.

A package of documents for registering a union in Poland

On the territory of Poland, marriages are concluded in the registry offices or in front of clergy in the temple.
If you wish to hold a ceremony at the registry office, you will need to submit the following documents:

  • Copies of the birth certificate of the bride and groom in Polish;
  • Original passports or any other identification documents;
  • Stamp duty payment receipt.

All documents must be in Polish. Translation for a foreign partner can only be performed by specialists certified by the Ministry.

Also, a foreigner must take on the territory of his country a certificate of the possibility of marriage. The ceremony is held no earlier than a month after the submission of the package of documents.

This is what a Polish marriage certificate looks like

When entering into a union by concordat, it is necessary to submit to the church a document confirming belonging to the chosen religion (for example, a baptismal certificate) and a certificate from the registry office stating that there are no good reasons for not holding the ceremony.

For the issuance of a marriage certificate in both cases, a fee of PLN 84 is charged. A foreigner who has permanent residence in Poland does not lose it in the event of a divorce from a local citizen.

Considerations for getting married abroad

It is also possible to marry a Polish citizen on the territory of other states. Upon arrival, the couple must officially register their union at the local registry office, providing passports and a copy of the civil act for confirmation. You also need to pay a stamp duty of 50 PLN.

Given the increase in the number of fictitious marriages in order to obtain permanent residence in Poland, we should expect a number of amendments to tighten the procedure in the coming years.

Investment in the Polish economy

Emigration to Poland through investment in the economy is perhaps the easiest way. There are free economic zones in the country. They give tax benefits, and sometimes completely exempt from income tax.

Features of business in Poland

Many domestic businessmen are attracted to Poland for several reasons:

  • One of the most stable economies in Europe;
  • Support for small and medium businesses. In the early years of the company's existence, various regulatory authorities are prohibited from carrying out inspections;
  • Loyal requirements for entering the local market, due to which the cost of opening a company is much lower than in neighboring countries;
  • Favorable geographic location. Poland is the central transit of Europe;
  • Wide range of business opportunities. There is duty-free trade with EU countries.

Company registration procedure

Company registration takes about 1 month. The procedure is simple:

  • drawing up a business plan and charter of the enterprise;
  • submission of documents for consideration to the department of the court for economic cases;
  • entering the company in the commercial register;
  • opening a bank account;
  • tax registration.

After the opening of the company, the owner is issued a multi-visa to stay in the country for 180 days a year, after which he can apply for a residence permit. Permanent residence in Poland through business is issued on a general basis. Permits are issued only if the firm has profits shown in tax returns.

Refugee status

In connection with recent events political environment many Ukrainians became interested in obtaining refugee status.

Poland supports the principles of the Geneva Convention, according to which such status is granted only to a limited circle of persons:

  • For fear of political, racial or other type of persecution;
  • If there is a reasonable threat to life in the home state.

When applying for refugee status, there is no need to apply for a visa to enter Poland. You need to write a statement about your desire when crossing the border. It should detail personal information and the reason for obtaining the status.

During the examination of the application, the passport is transferred to the Office of Foreign Affairs. Instead, a special identity document is issued. After that, each immigrant is required to undergo an interview to determine the veracity of the information and the evidence presented.

During the consideration of the application, the Polish government provides accommodation in a specialized camp with three meals a day. Refugee status is not granted if a person left their home country due to high unemployment or low material wealth.

With refugee status, a temporary residence permit in Poland is granted for 2-3 years, after which permanent residence is issued.

During the procedure, you cannot leave the territory of the country, otherwise the permanent residence will be canceled.

Every refugee is equal to a Polish citizen and has similar rights to health care, education in local educational institutions and social benefits.

This is what a Polish ID card looks like

It should be taken into account that according to the legislation, the first 6 months a refugee does not have the right to official employment. Of course, if you wish, you can find illegal work, but it is better to save a little Money to ensure a living minimum at first.

It is not easy to obtain refugee status due to the complexity of the procedure and the tightening of rules due to the large number of applications, so emigration to Poland in this way is not the best option.

Obtaining a residence permit

Full-fledged immigration to Poland consists of the classic stages: obtaining a residence permit, permanent residence, and then citizenship. On average, the process takes 5-10 years. Negative decisions are not subject to revision.

A residence permit in Poland is issued to each foreign citizen for a different period: from 12 to 36 months. It can be renewed for 10 years.

An example of a Polish residence permit card

For registration, you will need a passport and a passport of your native country, a certificate of the absence of criminal offenses. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has the right to request additional documents. The residence permit allows crossing the borders of the Schengen states 1 time within 6 months with the right to stay for 90 days.

A residence permit in Poland cannot be granted in several cases:

  • If a foreigner has permanent residence in the European Union;
  • in humanitarian aid activities;
  • While serving a sentence for a criminal offence.

After 5 years of residence in Poland on the basis of a residence permit without violating the norms of the legislative framework and official employment with timely payment of taxes, a foreigner can apply for permanent residence.

Possession of permanent residence in Poland for at least 3 years gives the right to apply for citizenship.

For one, moving to Poland will help to escape from the boring and dull situation in their native country, for others to build an excellent career, for the third to get a strong family. Everyone independently finds a reason to leave and start life from a clean page. Relatively loyal Polish legislation helps a lot in this.

The Stay Card is a plastic card that allows you to stay in Poland. The card is issued only if the foreigner plans to stay in Poland for more than 3 months. This is the same residence permit. But in Poland, this permit is of two types:

  1. Temporary Stay Card. This card allows you to stay on the territory of the republic from 1 to 2 years. This permission can be extended.
  2. Permanent Residence Card. This document is issued for 10 years. This is a permanent residence permit (permanent residence permit). After the expiration date of the document, it can also be extended. If foreign resident wishes to obtain citizenship of the Republic of Poland, then he should not renew the Residence Card, but must submit an application for citizenship.

In addition to these two varieties, this state also has a Long-Term Resident Card, the validity of which is 5 years.

Holders of the Residence Card are granted the following privileges:

  1. Visa-free entry to EU member states.
  2. Stay in the republics of the Schengen Zone for a period not exceeding 3 months.

The Stay card also serves as a person's identity card. It contains the following data:

  • Personal initials of the foreign national.
  • His parents' initials.
  • Date of Birth.
  • Place of Birth.
  • Place of residence.
  • Citizenship.
  • Height and eye color.
  • Pesel number.
  • Permission type.
  • Fingerprint data.
  • Authority that issued the card.
  • Date of issue.
  • Permit expiration date.
  • The mark regulating the presence of international protection.

The Card also indicates whether a foreigner has the right to work without obtaining a work permit.

Initially, the card is issued for 1 year. After this period, it is required to re-submit documents and a person will be issued a document with a shelf life of 2 or 3 years.

To extend the permit, it is necessary to submit documents for renewal at least 45 days in advance.

To obtain a Temporary Residence Card, a foreign resident must have grounds.

Reasons:

  1. Employment on the territory of the Polish Republic.
  2. Having your own business in this country.
  3. Education in a higher educational institution in Poland.
  4. Attending preparatory courses for admission to an educational institution.
  5. Passage of scientific practice.
  6. Family reunification.

The card is issued at the Department for Foreigners Affairs (Provincial Office).

Every year it becomes more and more difficult to leave to live in Poland. Documents for a visa have become longer and even more carefully considered. In addition, the stamp itself in the passport is not free. This is due to the status of Poland as a result of its accession to the Schengen area. Immigration to Poland is attractive to many because Russians and Poles share a similar mentality and languages. Only in Poland laws are much more strictly observed, while there is more order and culture.

To realize the desire to move to Poland, there are three main ways that are equally suitable for residents of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and other CIS countries. You can choose one of them based on your capabilities.

Moving to Poland for permanent residence through an official job

In order to obtain a work visa, the employer sends a potential employee an official invitation to work, certified by the labor department. Such an invitation, together with a special law on seasonal work, provides the right to obtain a legal job for 6 months. This method of immigration is possible only for Russians, Ukrainians and Belarusians.

If the employer is satisfied with the employee, then he can start issuing a so-called work permit. It takes a lot of effort, time and patience to complete this document. With this permit, an employee can stay in Poland for one year. Legal work provided on the basis of a work permit gives the right to receive a residence card in the future.

Education in a Polish educational institution

This way to go to Poland is profitable and promising, since the prices for studying in Poland are quite democratic, in addition to which there is an opportunity to get a diploma of the European standard. To obtain a student visa, you need confirmation of admission to an educational institution. As a rule, it is received after passing an interview, as well as after confirmation of tuition fees. Foreign citizens can only use the paid form of education, usually without entrance exams. For each year of study, the visa is automatically extended. Such a student visa is also the basis for issuing a temporary residence card.

Business immigration to Poland

To implement this method, you need to open a company in Poland, and it should also be borne in mind that it takes several months to receive all the documents, a work permit, and a temporary residence card. In addition, this option is suitable only for those who have start-up capital, since the minimum authorized capital required when opening a Polish company is 50 thousand zlotys or about 16,000 dollars. As a founder of a company, it will be easier to obtain a work permit and, subsequently, a residence card.

Recently began to open a large number of fictitious firms, the purpose of which is only to obtain a work permit in Poland. In the future, the owners of these firms do not operate. For this reason, it is expected that in the near future the procedure for opening a company in Poland will become more complicated.

How to move to Poland with the help of family ties

For those who have relatives of Polish origin, there is an opportunity to immigrate to the country through the Pole's Card. However, this is not enough. In addition, it is necessary to know the Polish language, as well as the culture and history of Poland.

Foreigners who have a spouse from Polish citizens have the right to reside in Poland and receive official work. However, in recent years, the procedure for obtaining a residence permit for them has become much more complicated. A prerequisite is cohabitation for a long period of time, and evidence that the marriage is not fictitious.

Moving to Poland will give life in comfortable conditions to anyone who wants to connect their future with this country.
