Most of the resort's black runs are located on Swiss territory, in Zermatt, while slopes for skiers and snowboarders with confident, but not professional experience, are located in the central part of the resort and the Lagy-Cime-Bianche area. The longest route in Cervinia, the Gran Pista, is 15 kilometers long and leads to the Valtornache valley. For beginner skiers, the slopes at Plan Maisons are the best. In total, the resort has more than 200 kilometers of slopes, and the combined ski area occupies 360 kilometers. Cervinia is famous for its slopes for off-piste skiing.
Snowboarders are welcome at the boarder park on Plateau Rosa, as well as at the fan parks, halfpipes and boardercross tracks in the Swiss part of the resort.
