In what part of Feodosia is it better to relax. G. Feodosia (Crimea) - reviews of tourists. Beach "Cote d'Azur"

By plane

The nearest airport to Feodosia is the airport of the city, located 120 kilometers from Feodosia. First we fly to it, and from there we get to Feodosia as we please: by taxi or by public transport. A taxi will cost about 2000 rubles if you order it in advance, or more if you decide to go with local cabs. You can take public transport to Feodosia either at the Simferopol bus station or at the Kurortnaya bus station. From the stop near the airport by bus or trolleybus, you can get to the railway station, next to which the bus station "Kurortnaya" is located, or to the bus station, and then directly to Feodosia. Ticket prices in any case will be approximately the same: around 170 rubles.

And now directly about air tickets. From Moscow, an air ticket will cost from 3,000 rubles, and the flight will take 2 - 2.5 hours. You can fly from St. Petersburg to Simferopol for 4300 rubles and 3.5 hours. Direct flights from other major cities of the country are rare, but possible: you can fly to Simferopol without transfers from Yekaterinburg (7800 rubles and 3.5 hours), Krasnodar (3800 rubles and 1.5 hours), from Rostov-on-Don (3800 rubles and 1.5 hours). You can monitor ticket prices.

By train

The easiest way to get to Crimea by train is to buy a ticket to Anapa, Novorossiysk or Krasnodar, and from there go either by bus or, in the case of coastal cities, by ferry to your destination. Train tickets from Moscow to cost from 1500 rubles, and the trip will take from 20 to 30 hours, from Moscow to Anapa - from 2000 rubles and 23 hours on the road, from Moscow to - from 1500 rubles and 23 hours on the road. From St. Petersburg to - from 2000 rubles and 31 hours on the road, to Anapa - from 3000 rubles and 39 hours on the road, to - from 2200 rubles and 46 hours on the road.

There is also a system of so-called “single tickets”, for example, in the direction “- Feodosia”, the cost of which immediately includes travel by train to Krasnodar, from Krasnodar to the port of Kavkaz by bus, then from the port of Kavkaz to the port of Crimea by ferry and further on the same bus to Feodosia. At the moment, the issuance of single tickets is temporarily suspended.

By bus

There are two bus stations in Feodosia: from one, located near the tourist center of the city, as a rule, flights go to other nearby cities of Crimea, and to the other, located somewhat to the north, they come long distance flights. Feodosia can be reached by bus from Krasnodar, Novorossiysk, Anapa, Gelendzhik and other cities. To get to Feodosia by bus from Moscow or St. Petersburg, you will need to change in one of these cities, preferably in Krasnodar, Anapa or Novorossiysk.

By car

To get to Feodosia by car, you must first get to the port of Kavkaz, then cross with the car by ferry to the port of Crimea, and then go directly to Feodosia along the E97 highway. Pretty simple. Ferry tickets for motorists, by the way, will cost from 1,200 rubles (depending on the size of the car) plus 162 rubles for each passenger.

Now a little about how to get to the port of Kavkaz by the shortest route. Wherever you go, you will need to go south along the M4 highway. Two ways appear here: the first and traditional one is to continue moving along the M4 towards Krasnodar, and from it turn towards the city of Temryuk onto the P251 highway, and from Temryuk continue along the same road towards the port of Kavkaz. The second method is not so popular, but on it you can save about 120 kilometers, 10 liters of gasoline and an hour and a half of time. To do this, you need to turn towards the village of Kanevskaya in the area of \u200b\u200bKushchevskaya village, from which you can drive along the P268 highway to Timashevsk. From Timashevsk we turn towards Slavyansk-on-Kuban, from Slavyansk-on-Kuban we go to Temryuk and then along the same road to the port.

By ferry

The ferry is today, one way or another, the most popular way to get to the Crimea, since almost all tourists use it, with the exception of those who decide to fly by plane. Ferries run from the port of Kavkaz to the port of Crimea every half an hour, so it will not be difficult to bypass the Kerch Strait here. As mentioned above, the ticket price for one person is 162 rubles. Yes, and be prepared for a thorough search when entering and leaving the port. It will be necessary to get from the port of Crimea to Feodosia by land: from the port we go to the Kerch bus station by minibus (the fare will be 10 rubles), and from the Kerch bus station to Feodosia we will take a regular bus for 160 rubles.

There is also an opportunity to get to Feodosia from Anapa by catamaran. The fare on the catamaran will be 1500 rubles for adults and 750 rubles for children.

When is the season. When is the best time to go

The climate in Feodosia is intermediate between steppe and subtropical, close to Mediterranean. Typical for hot southern cities. Summers are long and hot, winters are almost snowless and warm. Most precipitation falls in December, but in the summer there is a chance of running into a rainy period. You can navigate the prices for tours to Feodosia.

Feodosia in summer

Summer is, for obvious reasons, the most popular time of the year for holidays in Feodosia, since the city is, first of all, a resort. In the summer in Feodosia, you will find hot southern weather with warm and pleasant evenings, salty sea and beaches, green vegetation decorating the streets, as well as trees that will delight you with all sorts of edible goodies growing on them. In fact, summer here begins in April and ends around mid-October. There are especially many tourists from July to September. Actually, this is the most favorable time for a holiday on the Black Sea coast, since in June the water in it is still cold.

Feodosia in autumn

Traditionally, it is customary to attribute the months from September to November inclusive to autumn. We will do the same when speaking about autumn in Feodosia. In September, as mentioned above, there are still a lot of people on the beaches and streets of the city. And no wonder: the water is still warm, the air is still warmed by the summer sun and nothing reminds of the approaching change of seasons. But in October, tourists begin to leave, and by November the embankments of Feodosia are almost completely free of tourists.

Feodosia in spring

Spring is a good time to visit Feodosia for cultural and educational purposes. On the "God-given" land, a great many interesting and noteworthy sights are concentrated, which are definitely worth a look. Otherwise, tourist activity in the city in the spring is very weak.

Feodosia in winter

In winter, there are no tourists at all in Feodosia, so only local residents know firsthand what winter in Feodosia is like. A tourist has nothing to do in Feodosia in winter.

Districts. Where is the best place to live

Feodosiya has no official division into districts. There is, however, some informal system of dividing the city into 19 districts. This is a fairly large number of names in which it will be very easy to get confused. Therefore, we will go the other way and we ourselves will conditionally divide Feodosia into four districts: the southern part (purple), central part(red), northern part (green) and margin (blue).

The price of hotels in Feodosia, as in most coastal cities, is more affected by distance from the coast, so the farther from the sea, the cheaper, as a rule, but there are exceptions. Also, in addition to the usual hotels with standard service, in Feodosia, the owners rent out rooms in almost every private house. Already at the station, you are likely to be met by such feudal landowners and offered to rent “housing, inexpensive!” And here you can find both unspeakably cheap offers and unreasonably expensive ones. In a word, if you decide to rent a room by directly agreeing with the owner, then here we have only one piece of advice for you: be vigilant, prudent and attentive. You can choose private apartments in advance. Well, for comparison, below we provide a list of accommodation options in various parts of the city.

South part:

  • Hotel "Georgievskaya", - from 800 rubles per day;
  • Hotel "Lydia" - from 1800 rubles per day;
  • Mini-hotel "Feonika", - from 4200 rubles per day;

Central part:

  • Hostel "On Russkaya Street" - from 500 rubles per day;
  • Hotel "Aphrodite" - from 1500 rubles per day;
  • Guest house "Assol", - from 3200 rubles per day;

Northern part:

  • Hotel "Solnechnaya", - from 400 rubles per day;

  • Guest house "Good guest" - from 1750 rubles per day;
  • Hotel "Robinson's Hut" - from 2300 rubles per day;
  • Sunrise hotel - from 2500 rubles per day.

You can compare prices from different sites, and you can book on booking -.

What are the prices for holidays

Prices for a standard tour of the main attractions of Feodosia start at 500 rubles. The offer on the market of excursion services here often outstrips demand: on the streets of the city you will see many tables with counters, behind which guides stand day and night and wait for customers. Speaking of this, we recommend that you give preference to accredited guides, which will be evidenced by the appropriate certifying badge in Ukrainian or, possibly, in Russian. In Feodosia, among other things, you can also order a horse ride, the cost of which starts from 700 rubles, as well as excursions to other settlements and places of Crimea.

Main attractions. What to see

In Feodosia, you can not only relax your body, but also enrich yourself spiritually by visiting local attractions.

Top 5

Genoese fortress

One of the most popular and famous monuments of Feodosia. It is the remains, in fact, of the fortress, erected in the Middle Ages.

Saint Constantine's Tower

One of the monuments of medieval architecture, which is part of the Genoese fortress. Its distinctive feature is that it has survived to this day in its original form.

Cape St. Elijah

Fountain of Aivazovsky

A small building with interesting story. In 1887, the Feodosians experienced an acute shortage of fresh water. I.K. Aivazovsky, a famous Feodosian, decided to donate the source of drinking water that belonged to his estate to the city, for which the townspeople were immensely grateful to the artist.

Fountain "To the Good Genius"

To this day, the Feodosians keep a grateful memory of their outstanding fellow countryman. In 2004, a fountain-monument to the "Good Genius" was opened, which is a bronze female figure, in whose hands is a bowl from which water flows.

Beaches. Which is better

The beaches of Feodosia stretch along its entire sea coast. Some even merge into each other and seem like one big beach without a name, but this is obviously a delusion. Below we will talk about the most pleasant beaches in the city.

golden beach

The beach is located between Feodosia and the village of Berehove, along the highway M17 "Simferopol-". It is famous for its golden sands, consisting of worn shells. The beach is equipped with all the necessary beach infrastructure: there are changing cabins, toilets, umbrellas, sun loungers. Here you can always buy various kinds of flour products, and not only from local merchants, but also have a bite to eat in the nearest cafe, of which there are quite a lot on the coast. The bottom here is smooth, gentle, so the beach is perfect for families with children, who, however, will need to be monitored, since there are no buoys on the beach. Also on Golden Beach, you can easily find a quiet, secluded place if you prefer to stay away from large crowds of vacationers. In a word, the Golden Beach is rightfully considered the best place in Feodosia for a quiet, measured rest on the seashore.

Central beach "Kameshki"

And this beach is more likely for lovers of the noisy resort atmosphere of the South of Russia. The central beach, or "Kameshki", is considered the most popular among both the Feodosians themselves and tourists, since it is located in the very center of the city, next to the Feodosiya embankment, so you can hardly walk past it while walking around the city. The beach is equipped with everything necessary for a beach holiday, and moreover, it is replete with various kinds of services and entertainment, such as riding bananas, tablets, batmen and other rubber things, renting jet skis and even massages. Here you do not have to look for where to eat: the snack will find you. The beach has an abundance of cafes, kiosks and retail outlets where you can buy everything from food to souvenirs. The disadvantages of the beach include a high probability of leaving too much money here, succumbing to the abundance of all kinds of temptations. The beach is pebbly.

First city beach

It is located next to the Central Beach and in the range of services provided is no different from it. Perhaps the only difference between the First City Beach and the "Kamushki" is that it is sandy and consists of shells worn out for centuries, so those who do not love pebble beaches will find the First City Beach more pleasant than its neighbor.

Closed beach of the sanatorium of the Ministry of Defense

Near the First City is the beach of the sanatorium of the Ministry of Defense, which is free only for the guests of the sanatorium. Entrance will cost about 200 rubles. The beach is sandy and generally quite nice, and the fact that it is paid can please people who want to get as far away from the main mass of vacationers as possible.

Beach "Cote d'Azur"

Narrow sand beach stretching along the coast for a very short distance. However, there are always a lot of people here. The beach has everything you need for a beach holiday, a lifeguard and a doctor are on duty.

Ai-Petri beach or Suvorin stones

Further along the coast, next to the Cote d'Azur beach, is the Ai-Petri beach, popularly known as the Suvorin stones. The beach is rather narrow, the bottom is pebbly, the range of services is approximately the same as on the previous beaches, but unlike them, Ai-Petri is still less picturesque and aesthetically beautiful.

Dynamo Beach

The beach is located right behind the youth sanatorium of the same name. In general, it does not differ from the above: there is all the infrastructure, entertainment, catering establishments, toilets and more. Discomfort is delivered only by concrete slabs sticking out from under the sand in some places. The beach, by the way, is open from 5 am to 11 pm. But it is worth noting that if you are an adventurer with a sixty-liter backpack on your shoulders, and you find yourself in Feodosia at night and need to put up a tent somewhere, then you can not be afraid to go to the Dynamo beach. The local responsive security guards will easily let you settle down on the beach for the night, and the police patrolling it will tell you a lot interesting facts from the history of the city.

Beach "Pearl"

Located behind the Dynamo beach, the Zhemchuzhny beach in its picturesqueness may well compete with the Golden Beach: the same bright sand, the same atmosphere of serenity. The beach is equipped with everything you need, there are plenty of shelters from the sun.

Bounty Beach

The logical continuation of the "Pearl" beach. It has a full range of various entertainment services, as well as all the necessary infrastructure. In general, a rather ordinary sandy beach, which does not differ from others in anything, except for the proximity of the location, if you settled somewhere in the area of \u200b\u200bthe bus and railway station.

Scarlet Sails Beach

As you approach the outskirts of the city, less and less crowded and more and more interesting and picturesque beaches begin. One of them is "Scarlet Sails". A wide sandy beach stretching along the Kerch highway. It has all the infrastructure that we have talked about more than once above. The beach is interesting, first of all, for the purity of the water, as well as the abundance of various underwater inhabitants: crabs, sea urchins, rapanov and others. It is definitely worth coming here with a mask and snorkel to dive to the depths and look at the marine inhabitants or even hunt them (without harm to nature and solely for the purpose of broadening one's horizons, of course).

Beach "Club 117"

And finally, the beach, located between the Golden and Scarlet Sails. Club 117 during the day is an ordinary cozy beach for measured lying in the sun and swimming in salt water. It becomes interesting at night, when a lot of party-goers, both locals and visitors, flock here. A whole night of dancing to the music of temperamental DJs, rivers of spirits and, of course, soft drinks will be waiting for you on the beach "Club 117" after 20:00.

Churches and temples. Which are worth a visit

Church of St. Catherine

Founded at the end of the century before last, the Church of St. Catherine in Feodosia is an example of Russian architecture. Located next to railway station and the bus station, so it will certainly fall into your field of vision if you arrive in Feodosia by bus. An impressive complex with its size and beauty, which is definitely worth a visit for Orthodox tourists.

Cathedral of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God

Built at the beginning of the 20th century and made in the Russian-Byzantine style. Also very curious beautiful place, which is worth a visit for both devout and not so people.

Church of St. Sarkis or Church of St. Sergius

The medieval Armenian church, founded in 1330, is an interesting and valuable architectural monument. Here is the tomb of I.K. Aivazovsky, whose life story can be traced in this church: he was baptized here, got married here and was buried here.

Mufti Jami Mosque

The mosque was built in 1630 and is the only surviving religious Muslim building in the city.

parks

Jubilee Park

Small but enough picturesque park in the central part of the city. First of all, it is interesting for the abundance of sights concentrated on its territory, such as the tower of St. Constantine, the fountain of the Good Genius, the eternal flame and the memorial complex to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, as well as the Aivazovsky fountain.

Komsomolsky park

Located in the northern part of the city, near the bus station. There are many activities for children in the park, such as obstacle courses, tree houses and more. There is also a stele in memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The park itself is quite large, and a walk through it will probably take more than one hour.

Morsad Park

The oldest park in the city, but not the largest. Located in its ancient center.

tourist streets

Gallery street

The central street of the city, part of which is completely pedestrian. It is along it that a large number of catering establishments are concentrated: cafes, bars, restaurants and other things. There are also nice and well-groomed old houses along the street, which will certainly please the eye of a tourist who decides to take an evening or morning walk along the Gallery.

Pushkin Square

A small square with flower beds and a monument to A.S. Pushkin near the Jubilee Park.

Embankment of the Paratroopers

A popular holiday destination for tourists, as the embankment is located in the tourist center of the city. On the embankment, there are often clusters of all kinds of businessmen who hunt for everything: from renting out rooms in houses to selling souvenirs.

Ukrainian street

Ukrainskaya Street is located parallel to Galereinaya Street and is also a popular place for walking and general sightseeing of the historic city center.

What to see in 1 day

08:00 - imagine that we stopped at the intersection of Ukrainian and Galereinaya streets. Thus, we start the morning with a walk along Galereinaya Street and breakfast in one wonderful bistro located on it, which we will talk about later.

09:00 - along Galereinaya Street we go to the Alexander Grin Literary Museum of Local Lore and visit it.

12:00 - from the Feodosia Museum of Antiquities, we are on our way to the art gallery of I.K. Aivazovsky.

20:30 - and after sunset you can take a walk. From the golden beach we go to the beach "Club 117" and spend the rest of the time having fun as we can.

What to see in the surroundings

Speaking about Crimea, and especially about its coast, one cannot single out any one place and say that it is better than the others: each city, village or town is beautiful in its own way. Therefore, if you ask us: "What to see in the vicinity of Feodosia?" - We will not hesitate to answer - the whole of Crimea.

But if we talk about the Feodosia region of Crimea, then here you can go to the villages of Beregovoye and Primorsky with not crowded and clean sandy beaches. You can also recommend the village in the west with its famous Surb Khach monastery. Well, in the south are the famous villages of Ordzhonikidze and, next to which, in turn, is the remarkable Karadag Reserve. Not far from Ordzhonikidze, we recommend visiting another exceptional place - Fox Bay. Fox Bay is a kind of haven for all sorts of modern hippies, homeless people and other "Dharma vagabonds". It represents a large tent city in a secluded place between two capes, next to which there is a nudist beach. We recommend coming to Fox Bay for the night with a tent. And don't forget to bring as much firewood and water as possible.

Food. What to try

The multinational Crimean peninsula has absorbed many culinary traditions from different peoples and ethnic groups. Separately, it is worth noting the traditional cuisine of the Crimean Tatars, which can be found in the corresponding national cafes and restaurants, which also exist in Feodosia. Ukrainian and Russian cuisines are also widespread.

Of course, the Crimean chebureks, which differ from the usual chebureks in an impressively generous size, should be singled out separately. In Feodosia, you can try them in the Food Bistro chain of catering restaurants. Also in the markets and shops of Feodosia, you can buy a sweet, popular in the Crimea - baklava. And of course, there are many places in Feodosia where a tourist can taste the famous Crimean wines.

Holidays

Feodosia City Day is celebrated on the last Saturday of July, at the height of the tourist season, so tourists will have every chance to catch the festivities with processions, concerts and traditional night fireworks. Back in September, Feodosia hosts the Winefeofest wine festival, where the leading wine producers in Crimea not only present their products to the public, but festival guests have the opportunity to taste various brands of wine. Among other things, Winefeofest traditionally hosts grandiose shows, fireworks and other fun things.

In May, during the week in Feodosia, the Aeronautics Festival Air Brotherhood is held, which consists in competitions among pilots balloons. It is also quite a beautiful and fascinating sight, which is definitely worth a look if you are in Feodosia in May.

In October, an equestrian festival is held in honor of the Horse Breeder's Day, where people who are not indifferent to horses are given the opportunity to admire beautiful animals and ride them. In addition to horses, there is also an exhibition of other animals at the festival. Shows with acrobatic stunts on horseback are held.

Things to do

In addition to standard marine entertainment, such as water rides, excursions and other tourist pleasures, there are other things to do in Feodosia. For example, watch a movie in one of the three cinemas in Feodosia: "Crimea", "Ukraine" or "Pioneer". Listen to music of various directions from local and visiting performers in the summer concert hall"Star". Go to a performance at the House of Officers of the Black Sea Fleet or the Feodosia City House of Culture. In a word, many different activities can be found, some of which we will discuss in more detail below.

Shopping and shops

There are four large shopping centers in Feodosia: Aquamarine, Yuzhny, Passage and As-El. But the focus of shopping here, as in most other resort towns, are by no means shopping centers and malls, but good old markets and rows of shops. The Crimean and Central markets are especially popular with tourists and residents of the city, and if we talk about shopping arcades, their greatest concentration is observed in close proximity to the coast, and in particular, in the area of the paratroopers embankment.

Bars. Where to go

Most of the bars in Feodosia are located outdoors, and traditional indoor or basement bars are not very popular with tourists. Look for open-air bars in the vicinity of city beaches, and we will name a few traditional bars below:

Top 5 Feodosia bars:

  • "Rooms", - Lounge bar;
  • "Pivlyandiya" - pub;
  • "Greenwich" - casino bar;
  • "Lydia", - bar;
  • "East-South" - disco bar.

Clubs and nightlife

Party-goers make noise on the coasts of Feodosia on summer nights. The open-air clubs are the most popular here, and only a few remain indoors on a warm summer evening. Night discos are mostly spontaneous, but there are also traditional places for spending night time. Such phenomena as face control, dress code are quite rare here.

Top 5 Feodosia clubs:

  • "Arcadia" - night club;
  • «CROCODILE», - night club;
  • "Water World" - night club;
  • "Papa Billy" - a nightclub;
  • "Africa", - night club;

extreme sports

In Feodosia, you can find a pretty decent amount of extreme entertainment, in addition to the obvious "bananas", "pills" and towed parachutes: horse riding, quad biking, jeeping, rope jumping, hot air ballooning, diving, paragliding and much more. You can find them, as they say, right on the street, with guides who trade their services. There is only one piece of advice from us: be careful with extreme entertainment and order services only from trusted and certified specialists.

Souvenirs. What to bring as a gift

Public transport in Feodosia, and in general throughout Crimea, is mostly represented by cute yellow buses, outlandish for the rest of Russia. On such minibuses you can ride both inside the city and get to nearby villages. Buses run from the Feodosia bus station to Ordzhonikidze, and other more remote settlements. The fare in a minibus inside the city is only 10 rubles, and travel to neighboring villages can cost from 11 to 18 rubles, depending on the distance.

Transport rental

In Feodosia, you can rent a car for a period of two days and subject to the availability of all necessary documents: a passport and a driver's license. Also, when renting a car, you will have to leave a deposit, the amount of which will depend on the class of the car. The cost of rent per day starts from 1200 rubles. There are many companies providing such services, so we advise you to be careful and use the services of reliable and trusted organizations. You can rent a car in advance.

Feodosia - holidays with children

If you came to Feodosia with children, then you don’t have to think about how to entertain them: the sellers of excursions on the streets themselves will offer you a lot of fun for your children. With children, for example, you can go for a ride on horses, ATVs or a jeep (of course, if the kids are not quite small). You can visit various kinds of excursions with your children, the assortment of which will be gladly introduced to you on the spot. You can give them a ride on the "banana" or ride with them on a pleasure boat along the coast. You can take them to the Luna Park to ride various attractions or take them to the dolphinarium. Or you can go outside of Feodosia and go to the new famous Koktebel water park or to the Taigan safari park. In a word, local employees of the tourism industry will definitely not let your children leave Feodosia indifferent from “God-given”.

!

Have something to add?

One of the warmest and sunniest resorts in Crimea is Feodosiya district. The sea here warms up already in early June, so the swimming season lasts longer than in other parts of the peninsula. Feodosia is located on a long sandy coast, which is why local beaches are considered the most convenient and comfortable for rest.

In terms of the number of historical sights, the city is not inferior to Sevastopol and the iconic places of the southern coast of Crimea. There are many medieval temples, the ancient Kafa fortress, as well as picturesque mansions of the 19th-20th centuries. Many places in Feodosia are associated with the name of the great artist I.K. Aivazovsky, who was born here, lived and created his incomparable seascapes.

What to see and where to go in Feodosia?

The most interesting and beautiful places for walking. Photos and a short description.

1. Genoese fortress Kafa

Medieval fortification of the XIV century, built during the time of the Republic of Genoa that existed in the Crimea. The residence of the bishop, the consular palace, the court, administrative offices and utility rooms were located here. Most of the buildings were demolished in the 19th century. Hello friends!

Today we will go over with you on the topic - Feodosia Crimea beaches, look at the noisy city and spacious surrounding recreation areas. Let's find out the secret - why do people make a pilgrimage to some Cape of St. Elias, if there are more than a dozen beaches in Feodosia itself.

Well prepare theoretically for the swimming season on this coast. In order to know with confidence the location of all amenities and instead of a dressing room, not to send your own wife into the clutches of skilled beach masseurs.

With such knowledge you will not be put on the shoulder blades and you will not be offered some kind of muddy harbor with algae enveloping your legs.

Ah yes, enlighten!

The beaches of Feodosia stretch from Cape St. Ilya, including the surrounding areas of the villages of Beregovoye and Primorskoye - only 15 km along the coast. The landscape here is steppe and hilly, it does not indulge in special colors, but it is on this coast that the famous “golden sands” are located.

Most of the beaches have a wide sandy strip, unlike the beaches of the South Coast. There are very few wild areas, everything around is civilized with the necessary infrastructure.

Flaw Feodosia beaches: in the city they run along the railway, and in the vicinity along the busy Kerch highway.

Plus: all the beaches are free and you can get to any of them by minibus and you don’t need to walk along the trails with trunks - jumped out of the bus, and here it is - the sea!

The concept of Big Feodosia includes both the city of Feodosia itself and its satellites, the villages of Primorskoye, Beregovoye, Ordzhonikidze and even Koktebel with Kurortny.

By the way, here is the map for analysis. And now in more detail.

City embankment - central beach

The most popular place in the peak of the holiday season is "Pebbles", but in a simple way - the central beach. It runs along the busy city embankment, nearby are famous sights, which you can read about in this article, numerous catering establishments, cozy streets, hotels and motels.

The central beach, about 1 km long, has pebble cover , at the water's edge turning into sandy. The recreation area is spacious and wide, and the entrance to the sea is gentle and comfortable, which is good for children and the elderly.

Here you will find awnings, cabanas, toilets and showers, as well as rental of sun loungers and umbrellas. There are also entertainment venues here - attractions for children and adults, rental of catamarans and even a water sports center.

And everything would be fine if it were not for the problem with the sewage system, which has not been solved for several years. Therefore, aromas that are not at all marine often hover here, and in the heat, swimming simply becomes dangerous. I met reviews where (most likely visitors referring to algae blooms) vacationers are advised to take a drug for a rotovirus infection with them right away.

The most preferred time for a holiday here is June, the first half of July.

You can get to the embankment by buses No. 3, 15, 40, 40A, stop "White Acacia". Focus on the area of the railway station of Feodosia.

First or children's beach

Immediately after the central one, the first city beach follows, indicated on the maps also as "childish". So it is called because of the comfortable sandy surface and a very convenient entrance - the shallow water in this place stretches from the coast for several meters, due to which the water warms up much earlier, and it also storms here “like a child”.

The beach is fully equipped, there is a place under the awnings, and in the sun on sunbeds. For children, various attractions are installed, there is a pier for boat trips.

A big plus is that this area is carefully cleaned by employees.

Private owners and sanatoriums

So without a sanitary book there is nothing to do here.

unofficial beaches

Local residents and regular holidaymakers in Feodosia mention two more beaches that were not officially registered in 2018. This beach is "Dynamo" And "Suvorin stones" .

And, if there is some kind of landscaping at Dynamo - sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, awnings, and the site itself is conducive to comfortable rest, then Suvorinsky Stones is considered wild.

The beach area "Suvorinsky stones", of course, is not empty. There is not a very wide, but even pebble strip and breakwaters.

The downside is that the descent into the sea begins with slippery and sharp cobblestones, there are a lot of algae near the shore (because of the stones), here and there fragments of some plates are found. The beach is bounded on one side by a high concrete wall painted with terrible graffiti. Lovers of a recreation center remote from the noisy center and cheerful youth like to settle down here.

These beaches are located at the beginning of the Komsomolsky park. You can get to them by following the promenade.

On the azure coast

The Cote d'Azur beach has existed for a long time, but every year it is being improved more and more.

"Cote d'Azur" quite spacious, with a sandy-shell coating. It has two levels. The first level goes along the sand along the sea, and the second is concrete under canopies, which you have to climb up the stairs.

There are strict rules about smoking "wherever you want" at this site, and warning signs hang around. Lots of fun - from legendary "bananas" to water scooters and attractions.

There is a place to eat and clean up, although the services of shower rooms are paid. You will also have to pay for the use of the bathroom, umbrellas and sun loungers.

A small minus - after 18.00 beach equipment is collected, so you have to spend the rest of the day on a towel.

Otherwise, everything is very neat, cleaned, rescuers are wandering around, there is a first-aid post.

You can get here from the Komsomolsky park, breaking the railroad tracks. This site belongs to the Black Sea city embankment.

Second city or Pearl

Another large and equipped beach is called "Pearl" , thanks to the sand-shell coating with a characteristic tide. It stretches for 800 meters and reaches a width of up to 50 meters in places.

Everything is as it should be here - showers, sanitary zones, rescue points, awnings and rental of beach equipment. Nearby are cafes and shops, guest houses and hotels.

A gentle entrance to the sea and long shallow water make this beach accessible for families with small children.

Heavenly delight - no joke

Behind the "Pearl" is the beach "Bounty". It is known for its diverse infrastructure, leisure and entertainment services.

Territory "Bounty" occupies about 300 meters, the coating is fine sand. There is a very comfortable entrance to the sea, and wooden decks make this area neat and comfortable for barefoot rest.

Near the main entrance you will find information boards indicating prices for services (rental of sun loungers and umbrellas), beach opening hours, accurate data on air and water temperature, and various advertising chips - which excursions you can choose, which cafe has the most delicious lunch, where masseur is waiting for you etc.

You can get to this beach by taking minibuses No. 13, 13A, 106 to the bus station stop, then you need to cross the railway over a high bridge and you will go down directly to the Bounty.

Expanse of golden sands and blue sea

From the outskirts of Feodosia to Primorsky town stretches of sandy beaches, recognized as the best on this coast. For the next 10 km, along the Kerch highway, there are comfortable and well-equipped recreation areas.

If you move towards Beregovoe, then the first in the list will be the beach "Santa Cruz". His possessions begin immediately after the territory boarding house "Ukraine" .

Here is the widest sand strip, which reaches 50 meters. Here the sand is pleasant to the touch, well-groomed and clean territory, there is entertainment for children in the form of a large wooden frigate and an inflatable octopus pool for children.

Sun loungers and umbrellas lined up in clear rows. There is a representative of the Baywatch squad, a first aid kit, a cafe with drinks and booths for shy beachgoers.

Yes, and very close, behind the fence, parking for personal vehicles. What else is needed?!

Be careful! In the Alushta area, or rather in the Professor's Corner, there is another Santa Cruz beach named after the cafe above it. But that's a completely different song.

There is no Assol, but there are Scarlet Sails

Scarlet Sails Beach labeled as family. This is a very decent place.

The beach is fenced, has its own design style - square bright umbrellas lined up "under the ruler", neat paths, benches in the shade of trees or awnings, flower beds and other plant compositions, lanterns.

From entertainment - playgrounds for beach games, children's bright attractions, rental of all kinds of swimming facilities, massage cabins, a diving center, a tour desk, cafes and kiosks, Wi-Fi.

The territory is carefully cleaned, smoking is prohibited - there are special places, lifeguards and a first-aid post are present. A big plus is that there are slopes for people with disabilities.

On this beach you can rent not only a sun lounger and an umbrella, but also a diving kit (fins, mask, snorkel), a gazebo with a barbecue for the company, balls and other sports equipment for games. Personal belongings will safely wait for you in the storage room.

According to the reviews of vacationers - a very pleasant place with qualified and polite employees .

Where the sun rises

Entrance to the territory free, but in the evening may be limited due to various club activities. And so, here you can enjoy the pleasant fine sand, have fun on water rides and sports grounds, visit restaurants and bars.

What includes "117 km"

Next to the previous beach Sunrise located a spacious area called "117 km". It includes several beach areas, including "Club 117"- entertainment beach complex.

The peculiarity of this coastal recreation area is the combination of sand and shell cover and an abundance of plants that bloom and smell, create shade and give aesthetic pleasure to visitors.

Here you can also rent beach equipment, go headlong into entertainment and sports games, taste Crimean cuisine in one of the cafes, or just lie on your towel at the very edge of the sea.

It should be noted that here the entrance to the water, although gentle, has rocky areas. By the way, on the shore at certain distances there are heaps of boulders, probably playing the role of breakwaters.

This beach has a complete infrastructure from toilets to massage bungalows, so that the rest will be comfortable.

We got to the Golden Beach of Feodosia!

In fact, there is a concept like the Big Golden Beach, which includes all of the above beaches along the route plus several small private areas in between. But since they already had their own names, it is officially considered that golden beach - This is a site belonging to the tourist base of the same name.

It is located closer to the village of Beregovoye, behind the famous Dolphinarium "Nemo"(we have about the Crimean dolphinariums). Here you can stop and In a hotel, And V guest house , or directly at the hostel itself.

The sand and shell beach with a gentle entrance to the sea has an excellent wide strip and the necessary infrastructure. The houses are located right on the coast, which is very convenient and you do not need to cross any roads. In the sea there are areas fenced with buoys for kids.

In the morning on the beach (at 8.00), the loudspeaker usually greets visitors, announces the weather and water conditions, invites you to morning exercises - everything is very kind.

You can get here on the same minibus number 106. But remember, sometimes places on the beach are limited due to the large number of vacationers at the camp site, then you have to go to rest in the neighborhood.

Wild beaches of Feodosia

Gerbil

For those who want to retire and listen only to the sound of the surf in Feodosia, there are wonderful wild beaches. You will have to get to them by car or first by public transport, and then on foot.

"Gerbil" is located outside the village of Primorsky, which is part of the urban district of Feodosia. This is the largest and most spacious area, bounded on one side by green hills and embankments. Nevertheless, the coastal strip is wide, and the entrance to the sea is gradual and convenient.

From the infrastructure there are only remote catering points, so you need to take umbrellas, bedding, water with you.

How to get there: take bus number 106 to the final stop, then walk along the coast for 3 km!

Cape Chumka

The beach, although located in the city, does not have an equipped shore. Vacationers love this site for the cleanest water and calm sea in a small bay.

Coastal cover - pebbles of different sizes. The entrance to the sea is rocky and sandy . Broken pier structures stick out of the water nearby.

You can get here by minibuses No. 1, 14, 2A, 15, get off at the bus stop "City Hospital No. 1".

Cape St. Elijah

This beach is absolutely wild and informal and yes, it is far away. But connoisseurs of Crimean landscapes get here too. Cape St. Elijah known for its historical past and legends, there is an old lighthouse and even Scythian burial mounds.

The coastline here is quite indented, there are rocky areas backed by steep slopes, and quite comfortable, wide pebble-sand stretches. There is no infrastructure , as well as those who would follow the order here. Therefore, all visitors are asked to keep clean.

Get to Cape St. Elijah, you can do this: get to the Kafa fortress (stop Gorbolnitsa), then walk about 2 km to the east. Car coordinates: 45.012778, 35.421944.

in this article I wrote how to correctly choose a company for renting a car in the Crimea

  • If you have to get bored from recumbent marine procedures, then there are two options: active-extreme And non-standard instructive. Choose yourself.

    See you soon!

    There are completely unequipped, natural beaches with sand or pebbles, of a mixed type in Feodosia, not only outside the city, but also between landscaped areas within the city.

    Wild beaches in Feodosia can often be found walking towards Beregovoy parallel to the Kerch highway. Unfurnished and not crowded with sun loungers and umbrellas, there are beaches between rental lanes for 117 km (near " Scarlet Sails"and near the TOK" Golden Beach "). Closer to Beregovoe is a fairly well-known folk beach - "Suvorinsky Stones".

    One of the most picturesque wild pebble beaches of Feodosia is the shore of a small bay on Cape Chumka. This is the southeastern outskirts of the resort, the area of the Fisherman's Village. It is not easy to get to the rocky beach, so there are few vacationers on it, there are no signs of resort infrastructure - solitude with nature is guaranteed.

    And if there is no shortage in ordinary wild beaches, then in search of nudist beaches from Feodosia, you have to travel a considerable distance - about 14-16 km towards Ordzhonikidze, where secluded shores begin, attracting local and visiting naturists.

    Private beaches of Feodosia

    Formally, all the beaches of Feodosia are free. However, some sections of the coast have a special status, and access to them is limited: as a rule, these are therapeutic beaches of sanatoriums and children's camps.

    So, the beach of the Feodosia military sanatorium remains closed to outsiders. This shore is pebbly, fenced, positioned as a medical beach for vacationers in a sanatorium, has its own first-aid post.

    The sandy children's beach of the Aivazovsky sanatorium is also fenced with a warning sign that entry is prohibited for outsiders. However, the entrance to the beach is not strictly controlled, and ordinary vacationers pass through it.

    Private, closed is a small beach at the hotel "Fort Knox", and in the evening the entrance to the club territory of the beach complex at 117 km of the Kerch highway is limited. In general, the proportion of beaches of hotels and sanatoriums available only for guests in Feodosia is negligible in comparison with the expanse of the public coast.
