The last thing we heard from one of the pilots was the words "white wall" and "strange water."
The next day, the search for the missing planes began. Several helicopters set out to carry out this dangerous mission. But here, too, something strange happened. One of them disappeared in the same mysterious way. But later the rescuers still managed to find out what happened to him. The sailors of the ship, passing very close, said that they heard a strong explosion high in the sky.

Deaths and mysterious disappearances in the Valley of the Headless continue to this day. But there is not even the slightest hint of what is actually happening there. Underwater possessions of Cape Sig have become a reserve for many shipwrecks that attract divers. However, others disappeared without leaving a trace.
Bermuda Triangle
Most famous point on this list has its reputation for nothing. Yes, there have been significant incidents in the Bermuda Triangle, which stretches from south Florida to Bermuda and Puerto Rico, including the loss of USS Cyclops with 309 crew members in 1918. Five American Avenger bombers disappeared there in 1945.
However, the Bermuda Triangle is notorious for violent storms, changeable weather, and treacherous shallow waters, according to oceanographers. Along with bad weather, the triangle is famous for one of the busiest shipping lanes on the planet. Proportionately, the level of missing ships and aircraft in this zone does not exceed the rest of the places on our planet. The Bermuda Triangle didn't even get into notoriety until the 1950s, only then did it rise to fame, thanks to the overblown and even fabricated stories written over the next few decades. And like many other things in our lives, it has become a household name.
East of the Bermuda Triangle, circulating currents have created the Sargasso Sea. Floating algae create whole rugs floating in the Sargasso Sea and swirling with strong currents. For a long time, sailors avoided this region and gave rise to legends about ghost ships sailing in the Sargasso Sea. In the 1840s, one such ship was the Rosalie, which was found empty, without a single crew member on board, wrote CNN.
West of the Sargasso Sea, one of the most mysterious ghost ships in maritime history, the Mary Celeste, was discovered in 1872. The entire crew, including the captain's wife and daughter, disappeared, although the cargo of explosive ethanol and a large number the food the ship was carrying remained untouched. An ethanol leak could have frightened the crew, causing them to leave the ship, fearing an explosion. A lifeboat could have sunk in a storm.
michigan triangle
The Bermuda Triangle's northern cousin, the Michigan Triangle, stretches from Ludington to Benton Harbor, Michigan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Ships and at least one aircraft are the trophies of this region. In 1891, Thomas Hume's schooner and her crew of seven set sail for the Michigan Triangle, but did not return and left no trace. In 1921, the Rosa Belle was found floating in this triangle completely empty, without eleven crew members aboard. In 1950, flying over the triangle, Northwest Airlines flight 2501 disappeared, and with it 58 passengers.
Bennington triangle
The Bennington Triangle in southwest Vermont was the last place where five people were seen who disappeared between 1945 and 1950. The first time, an 18-year-old tourist disappeared, although her two companions were only 100 meters behind her. Exactly three years later, on the same day, a man disappeared from a moving bus. Nobody noticed his disappearance.
One logical explanation was the presence of a serial killer in the woods of Vermont. However, serial killers typically target specific demographics. Among the people missing in the Bennington Triangle was a 74-year-old woman guide and an 8-year-old boy.
South Atlantic Anomaly
Strange and powerful forces envelop the Earth with energy, but there is nothing supernatural in them. The Van Allen Radiation Belt forms a lopsided donut of charged particles around the planet. The belt sags closest to Earth over South America and the Atlantic Ocean off eastern Brazil. This region is designated by NASA as the South Atlantic Anomaly. As the Hubble telescope, satellites and other spacecraft passed through the anomaly, they received and continue to receive an intense bombardment of protons, the building blocks of atoms, with energies above 10 million electron volts.
Being 200-800 kilometers from the surface, the anomaly should not affect either what is on the ground or aircraft. However, some attribute it to the crash of Air France flight 447, which killed 228 people in 2009. The true cause of the disaster may simply be a tool failure that needed a few lines of code to change, according to scientists at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
