Survive the "Invasion": how to spend the festival days with maximum comfort. What to take with you on an invasion

Are you going to the INVASTION festival for the first time? According to the experience of INVASION-2010, I will tell you, how to prepare for an INVASION.

How much does food, water cost, what to take with you, what tickets to buy for INVASION? I will try to write about everything from my point of view here, according to my own experience.

PURCHASE TICKETS FOR THE INVASION
Guys, with a trip to the INVASION, it is better to decide in advance. From my own experience. Because if you postpone the purchase of tickets until the end - in the end you won’t go, there will be laziness and many reasons. It is better to buy tickets before April 1st. At this time they are cheaper. From April 1 (no kidding), prices usually rise by a third approximately.

Ticket categories - tueva hucha, pruvlink: http://nashestvie.ru/ru/info/ticket. It is better to study this matter in advance in detail, in general, everything is described well there.

My friend and I went for the first time this year and bought ourselves all the VIPs. Even at March prices, 13 sput for two came out: 2 vip tickets, vip parking and a vip tent. Next, I describe our Epic Fail.

vip tent. The topic is stupid and unnecessary. The territory of the vip-zone with a big creak accommodated all the tents (it is small). But here, ordinary tents could be set up on almost the entire territory of the Invasion field (a very large territory). You can - in a tent city, together with everyone in a heap, Or you can be 200-300 meters away from everyone, so that no one interferes. Therefore, next time we take an ordinary tent, in addition to being cheaper, it is also more convenient.

vip parking. Yes, closer to the entrance for vip tickets. Regular parking a little further away. This is where all the benefits end. However, it costs more. But not by much Does it make sense to overpay? You can, but at your choice)) There is no security of cars and special conditions at the VIP parking. The same razdoblannoe field)) Just closer to the entrance.

But with tickets - a double-edged sword. What gives us vip ticket? The ability to walk everywhere without bothering whether there is a passage here)) The ability to sit in the stands (relevant in rainy weather). But what are the actual advantages over a FAN category ticket? But almost none, except for the fact that it is impossible to leave the festival territory (and it doesn’t make much sense to go out), and in the stands! Special restaurants for vip - expensive, we ate in the usual area. Although only in the vip-zone you can buy strong alcohol (for Pts expensive of course). Night discos? Yes, you must be either super lazy (not going to concerts on stages) or mega-energetic (because after the last speaker you can hardly drag your legs to the tent). Additional entertainment? Is it a shower)) But also for money)))) A special toilet area? Here's a joke: ordinary toilets, especially at alternative scenes, are MUCH cleaner. And there are many more of them. In the VIP zone, they didn’t dare to go into the toilet)) As a result, the only advantages are in leaving the INVASION territory (which they never used) and the opportunity to sit in the stands (this is a plus). Although if you have money, then vip cafes with alcohol will also be pleasant on a Saturday evening!

Get access to stand close to the stage and gives FAN-ticket (absolutely the same). But without a fan / vip ticket - sucks, the FAN-zone is fenced off from the stage for 100 meters. outside of it, the owners of ordinary tickets on the stage can not see anything, current from the screens))

Therefore, if you are by car and with a tent, the following solutions with the purchase of tickets look the most optimal:
- normal/vip parking
- regular tent (cooler than vip!!!)
- FAN or VIP ticket. Decide first of all by the desire to go beyond the festival (theoretically, you can walk to a store in the nearest village: about a kilometer on foot, and buy food and water there at reasonable prices, although you can absorb it all there), as well as access to cold technical water and soul, but with mega queues (a shower is paid, it seems like 300 rubles, we didn’t go), but the opportunity to sit on the podium (this is a plus, by the way). There are no other differences.

FOOD, WATER, BEER AND ALCOHOL ON THE INVASION

On the INVASION - everything is quite expensive, gentlemen. And given that the festival takes place in the fresh air (a constantly excited appetite) and if the weather is like this summer (awesome heat) - you really need to take a lot of money for a good rest.

You can’t bring anything into the festival territory, the guards seize everything. Water is not allowed, food is not allowed, nothing is allowed)) Especially a bummer with water.

I'll start with the most intriguing, i.e. from the end. Strong alcohol on INVASION- sold in the VIP-restaurant zone. There are many different things. For example, 50 grams of vodka costs 130 rubles, whiskey - about 300 rubles per 50g (essentially cheap in quality) the rest - 3-4 times more expensive)) But this is for the VIP, and even in such heat - strong alcohol is not popular.

Beer on INVASION. At a rock festival (it was a revelation for me) they sell canned beer at the base of the current. Draft - current in the vip-zone, some kind of no-name, 170-200 rubles per half-liter glass. Canned - from 120 rubles for a can of an old miller. For 200 rubles you can buy a liter bottle (well, it comes out cheaper). There is no assortment as a whole. All prices are valid for 2011.

Water and soft drinks on INVASION. This, comrades, is a mockery and a star. In the heat of +35, which was in 2010, at least ... 0.5 bottle of Pepsi or similar drinks, as well as carry - costs 100 rubles. Needless to say, such a bottle is drunk in one gulp at a time and there is not enough of it even in such weather?)) Drinking water is shipped in 1 place from trucks, first they brought 5-liter canisters for 120 rubles, then they began to bring them in one and a half liter bottles for the price of 250r for 6 pieces (they did not give retail). Everything is warm, yes. With regards to the water temperature... If you take it in the main shopping arcades, everything is always warm there, they manage to put current drinks in the refrigerator for the sake of appearance, everything quickly scatters. At the same time, only 2 outlets out of 20 tents in the mall sell drinks (water and beer). Where they sell food, they don't sell water. And vice versa. Rave. But if you are not too lazy to run 500 meters to the lonely tents near the alternative scenes - there was cold beer. But stomp, of course, is far away. And then they learned about this current due to the fact that they decided to take a walk throughout the territory (the area is very large).

food on the invasion. Not rich in variety. In the vip-zone there is something like a canteen (you pass, you are served whatever you want, each dish costs a lot). Expensive shoppers, a modest lunch for 1 person will cost about 500 rubles (potatoes, meat and a drink to drink). Therefore, most dine in the usual area. Here ... Well, for example, a portion of barbecue costs from 150 to 300 rubles (depending on the tent). You don’t particularly eat, this is 1 skewer in small pieces (3-5 pieces of meat). There was 1 point with "homemade" food and a constant mega queue, where you could, for example, eat a cutlet with rice for 70 rubles, but I never risked this business to survive. There were bigbon tents, where you can buy this dry drink with boiling water for free (like a promotion) at a price of 50 to 120 rubles, depending on what. Boiling water separately for carried doshiraks costs 30 rubles per glass (yes, for some reason they were allowed to bring in doshiraks, it seems). There were also stardog tents at a price of 120 rubles for a hot dog. In other malls, local hot dogs cost from 40 to 100 rubles, somewhere. Terribly tasteless))) And in the stardogs, sausages were always burnt on the 2nd day: they did not have time to wash the pan. There was also a tent with pancakes for 250 rubles - it was not popular. You could also find fried dumplings (about 150r), boiled corn (100r) ... Chips for a 15g bag, like croutons, cost 50r.

In general, it seems that everything seems to be not so expensive, in Moscow in restaurants like and more expensive. To be honest, my friend and I took 8000 with us for two, arrived on Friday evening, left on Sunday morning (we didn’t buy anything on Sunday) - there was no money left in the sense at all. At the same time, we saved on almost everything (we drank less water than we wanted, ate 2 times a day, although we wanted to much more often, we weren’t satisfied with beer). So I advise you to save about 5,000 rubles for the "economy" option, and 10-15 thousand each, so as not to deny yourself anything. This is without tickets)) It turns out very expensive. Who knows, in cool cloudy weather it might have come out even less.

WHAT TO BRING ON THE INVASION

If we are going for all 3 days, we take with us:
- tent with sleeping bags
- 3-4 changeable t-shirts and 3-4 changeable shorts/jeans
- cap or something on the head from the sun
- SUN CREAM IN A TUBE (we didn’t take it, now we’re like a black man)
- something warm in case "what if it gets cold"
- light shoes (sandals are the best)
- rubber boots (because even without rain near the stands, the ground often turns into an impenetrable mess, and if it rains, even more so)
- a raincoat (because it is convenient and compact, but with an umbrella you won’t stand by the stage for a long time, at best the umbrella will be broken for you, because it interferes with the view, and at worst - how lucky)
- light medicine: activated charcoal, which is light and popular for stomach and hangover, plaster (our second jamb, they didn’t take the plaster, but trampled the corns).

Take any cosmetics ONLY IN TUBES: bottles (metal and glass, including with sprayers and without) - are taken away! By the way, you don’t need to take anything from mosquitoes, because. There are no mosquitoes on the Invasion. Seriously.

Guitars are always welcome, you will be the highlight of the nearest tents)) You can play some games (balls, frisbees, cards). Nothing more is needed in particular. You can try to drag the doshirak, but it's safer and easier to buy on the spot. Water is not allowed. Even more so alcohol.

It is better to photocopy documents and take copies to the territory (leave originals such as rights in the car). Valuable to take a minimum. Be prepared for the fact that everything you take in theory can be lost: no one is looking behind the tent. Although by the way the contingent of participants this time was quite adequate.

The rest is to taste, but it's not worth picking up a lot.

ENTERTAINMENT ON INVASION

You read the site - there should have been a lot of interesting things there ... In fact, there are few entertainments except for the main one: concerts. There is a game room with board games (probably the only free thing at the festival). There were rides on hot-air balloon in the evenings. There was an Xbox promo room, but there were people there - it’s better not to meddle)) For quite children there were inflatable trampolines. Well, in general, I seem to have listed everything))))

But despite all this, it is necessary to go to the INVASION. Especially in 2011 THE INVASION IS 10 YEARS!

The organization is more or less tolerable already. Although there is room for improvement. But I will write about this in the next post about the Invasion, about my impressions. It was cool, we liked it, we want to go again next year. We will start saving money already in the fall)))) What do you wish!

Survive the "Invasion": how to spend the festival days with maximum comfort

To an uninitiated person, the phrase “I survived the Invasion” does not mean anything, but for the “veterans” of the festival, it causes a slight attack of nostalgia and euphoria. This year will be held for the sixteenth time. However, not everyone knows how to survive the "Invasion" for the first time. What do beginners need to take with them to spend the festival days with maximum comfort? We share a list of things for which you will mentally say “thank you” to yourself.

RAINCOAT, RUBBER SHOE, BANDANA

Two things can prevent you from enjoying your favorite music: too rainy weather and too hot weather. In the history of the "Invasion" everything has happened - abnormal heat and monsoon rains, and it is almost impossible to predict what surprises the weather will give us this year. Therefore, it is better to play it safe and take a raincoat with you, durable waterproof shoes that you don’t feel sorry for, a cap or a scarf on your head from sunstroke. Real fans are not afraid of rainy weather, so usually at the same time it starts to rain, the field blooms with different colors of raincoats.

DAILY BREAD AND LIQUID

On the "Invasion" they feed plentifully, but for money. Therefore, it makes sense to think over your festival menu, given that it is forbidden to bring any fuel into the territory. What to do? Take with you what is stored for a long time: doshirak and rollton, smoked sausage, cookies, cheese, bread, croutons, dry mashed potatoes. Boiling water can be bought for 50 rubles in tents with food. No matter how much you want to bring alcohol with you, it will not work, but at the festival, beer flows like water, of course, also for money.

SWIMSUIT

The Volga River flows 4 kilometers from the festival field, which has become a salvation for many on the hottest days. So take with you swimsuit and fins - they will come in handy not only on the river, but also on the field, if suddenly the clothes seem superfluous.

SUNSCREEN

Oh, how many burnt noses and shoulders the "Invasion" has seen over the years! Holidays at the festival are somewhat reminiscent of beach holidays, provided that the weather is clear and sunny: summer, green grass, blue sky, relaxed and happy people around in shorts and t-shirts. Most of the day is spent open sky, nowhere to hide from the sun, there is every chance of getting burned, but no chance to reanimate yourself. Sunscreen- Just necessary thing at the festival, taking which, you mentally thank yourself.

CLOTH

Do not underestimate your wardrobe on the "Invasion", because, as we remember, the weather can prepare surprises for us. Take what makes you comfortable dance, jump and roll on the grass, but don't forget about warm clothes: the nights in the Moscow region are cool even in July. A change of clothes will also not hurt, because, for example, you can be doused with beer (accidentally).

TENT, SLEEPING BAG, FOAM

The festival lasts three days, which means that two nights will have to be spent somewhere. The majority buys a place in a tent camp, a minority stays overnight in a car or drives to the nearest hotel. And still the real spirit of the "Invasion" can be felt by looking for your tent in the night with a torch and waking up to Zemfira's sound check at 7 am. So, the absolute must-have at the rock festival is a tent, a sleeping bag and foam, which can also be used during the day for bedding.

ROD AND FLAG

Why take a fishing rod to the festival if there are no fish there anyway? Fishing rods are used to attach the flag. Because otherwise, finding your tent among thousands of others is not a task of one hour. Accordingly, the flag also needs to be taken care of in advance. Many take the flags of their cities and countries, some invent their own. The more original the flag, the easier it is to find your parking lot.

  1. Excuse: no one will ever be able to answer specifically for you what set of things will be ideal for you. Further there will be only advice and explanations, you will have to collect grubs and gear yourself.
This will be a large section, somehow I could not logically divide it, I apologize).

To decide what to take with you, you need to know what the festival itself has to offer).

Eat: water(drinking and technical), shower facilities with toilets of the classical type "M" and "Jo" (with ceramic friends), ordinary transportable plastic toilets(in the common people "blue booths", although there are also green ones), food(everything), and health care. In principle, you can not take anything else, except for a thicker wad of money, but fit into someone's tent (or rent it). But this, of course, is a fierce extreme).

Everything else will have to be taken with you)).

So, in order.

Water. Drinking water on the territory of the festival can ONLY be bought in the Social Water trucks. Trucks drive up constantly, the water will never end. A 5 liter eggplant costs 200 rubles. It makes no sense to think about whether it is expensive or cheap, since there are no other options. Any liquids for bringing to the festival are prohibited, in any container. As you know, this rule applies to any public events. Those who come by car are more fortunate. Factory-packed water is quietly passed. In addition, remember that parking is not the territory of the festival, you can go to the nearest village and bring water from the store.

Water trucks are located to the right of the Main Stage. There they are, relatives)

I advise you, after you put up a tent, immediately go for water and buy at the rate of 10 liters per person for 3 days (or 2 baklahi) at least. Put in a tent and forget about the problem of drinking water. Also, if possible, get an empty bottle of 0.5 or 1 liter in any way. You can bring an empty plastic bottle with you through the security checkpoint. Or buy at trade tents any drink in a bottle of the size you like. This is necessary in order to carry clean drinking water in a small amount. It’s nice to carry five liters with you, but it’s stupid).

After the first five-liter baklaha is over, you should not throw it away. It is very useful for storing technical water for washing, toothpicking and head-washing. Process water is free and unlimited. It can be easily obtained at any time by reaching any available structure called "Shower". A pipe is attached to the side, from where the desired water flows, which is pumped from the nearest well. The water is not meant to be drunk and is ice cold. Since no one needs snot, we throw an eggplant with technical water into a tent or car. In 6-8 hours of daylight, the water will heat up to a very, very pleasant temperature. Voila)). Well, or stand in line for a paid one (250-300 rubles) and, to put it mildly, not a warm shower.

On the right, near the wall, people are standing near a pipe with faucets with technical water.

Shower. There are three of them:

Access to the soul in the town of "Sverdlovsk" is unlimited. To get to it you need to go into the town and immediately turn left. Go all the way).
You can get to the shower in the Leningrad town from the VIP zone or from the Leningrad town. Therefore, access to this shower is available to owners of the VIP entrance (both with and without the “Leningrad town” bracelet) and the owners of the FAN entrance + the “Leningrad town” bracelet.
In the town "Moscow" the shower is in the farthest corner from the entrance to the town, where only the faucet is drawn. “The booths are plastic, the outside is the same as the toilets. Only green and inside the shower and tray. Quite comfortable for washing. By the way, there was also a washbasin next to the showers” — Olga Pashova

Toilets: As you can see in the picture, the shower is combined with an establishment like a toilet). There (and only there) there are ordinary toilets. There were 2 such multifunctional "houses" (in the General Town, now the Sverdlovsk Town, and in one of the VIP towns, which is now called Leningrad). Whether there will be another shower-toilet in Gorodok "Moscow" is unknown.

So in the vast majority of cases, you will use a different design, called the "blue booth".

About the booths, it must be said that every year their cleanliness and quantity increase. This is a great merit of the organizers, who pay special attention to this issue. Cabins are ALWAYS washed. All the toilet horrors that happened on the "Invasion" are long in the past.

Toilet life hacks)) are as follows:

  • There is no paper there, so be sure to take toilet paper or napkins with you, as well as antibacterial hand wipes).
  • The booths stand in long enough rows, so you don’t have to be stupid and queue up for the nearest booths. Go ahead, for sure there will be empty seats.
  • Often (especially in the morning-hangover)) there is such a situation that evenly there are queues of 3-5 people along the entire length of the toilet row. It is clear that the first reaction is to choose the queue that is shorter and become in it. This is mistake. You need to go straight along the booths and pull the doors slightly. Somewhere on the 5-7 booth, to the surprise of the people standing in line, you will find a free one. After that, feel free to use it to your heart’s content, and the people will be busy with the question: “Why, could it be like that?”. But here without impudence, of course.

Creative))) You don’t need to do this, it’s purely neighing)

Since it is clear that in order to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the blue-cabin reality, you must first put something into yourself, then let's talk about food).

!!!How much money to take with you!!!

It is impossible to say exactly how much money you need to take. A huge number of factors affect this: whether you drink beer or not, how much food you buy, whether you buy souvenirs, spend money on entertainment .. I will say to myself - I spent on the FIELD (i.e. without tickets, the cost of the food that I brought with me, the way there and back) for all 3 days ~ 9,000 - 10,000 rubles. I practically did not limit myself to beer, I ate something once, bought drinking water without restrictions. 80% of the cost is beer.

In case of extreme weather (as in 2017), there must be:

Tent- double layer only. So that under the pressure of the wind the outer layer does not stick to the inner one and the rain does not seep in, we carefully stretch the extensions.
Mattress- an air mattress on the floor of the tent. If suddenly the water is flooded, it will remain at the bottom of the tent, you will be dry.
sleeping bag The lower the comfort temperature, the better. It is better to sleep naked in a warm sleeping bag than to shiver in three cold sweaters. It makes no sense to take more than 0 ° if it rains on the field. Sleeping bag +10° pierced by cold at night in a tent in a normal summer.
Raincoat— Must be a good expensive rubberized. You can take thin cellophane in addition for an emergency.
Boots— thick rubber knee-high.
Stretch film- we wrap the legs with a film over the pants from the heels to the priests, we put our legs into the boots. This will protect against moisture, wind and dirt. Sleeves can be rolled up.

Socks Your feet will be wet even with boots on. Therefore, we take socks at the rate of two pairs for one day. Socks do not dry in the tent. We also take warm woolen socks to sleep at night.
Trousers- it is better to take at the rate of one pants - one day. If it gets wet, there will be nowhere to dry.
Hat, thin fleece gloves, plenty of warm clothes - 2-3 sets.

Start monitoring the weather in Konakovo 10 days in advance. If it rains, however shallow, get ready for mud. The field will be destroyed by heavy equipment and it will not have time to dry.

Festival Invasion has been going on for many years and I have heard a lot about its scale for a long time. As a rock lover, it was extremely interesting for me to attend this event, but it just didn't work out. And finally, in the summer of 2015, I did it. Many people are delighted with the Invasion, I had mixed feelings (perhaps because before the trip I just returned from two weeks ago), but I really really liked it ( updated 2018 I liked it so much that now I go every year and the information in the article is always up to date). I advise everyone to survive the Invasion at least once.

First hours at the festival

Yes, yes, the expression "survive the Invasion" is used for a reason, and then you will understand it. When preparing for a trip to the Invasion, I did not find rational information on visiting. Yes, for so many years there have already been hundreds of discussions on the forums, but until you read them all, you can turn gray. There is a large manual called first-rate reading, there is information on 23 A4 sheets on which all the nuances are described in colors. I highly recommend reading it. But not all the questions that I had before visiting the Invasion have explanations there. Plus, the real situation was different on some issues. That is why I am writing my concise and really helpful story in addition(!) to the first reading.

Which ticket to buy for the Invasion

With an ordinary entrance ticket to the invasion, you can simply enter the festival territory once and if you need to leave, they will not be allowed back. I bought tickets back in February. Then they went up a few times. You can buy tickets directly in front of the festival area for about 50-70% more than their original cost.

If you have no problems with finances, feel free to take a FAN ticket. Just with a normal entrance ticket, you will be somewhere 150 meters from the stage. There is a FAN zone in front of the stage and then the rest of the field. They are separated by a fence and riot police, so getting closer to the stage with an entrance ticket will not work.

Approximately here you will be if you buy a regular entrance ticket to the Invasion

To enter and exit the festival area, you can buy a VIP ticket, or you can buy a parking ticket (even if you don’t have a car). Two bracelets are given for one parking ticket (that is, for two people), and it will be possible to walk back and forth on these bracelets without hindrance.

ticket tent aroused resentment. Officially, a ticket for placing a tent in a tent city is required. But neither at the entrance to the field, nor to the territory of an ordinary tent city, no one asked for this ticket, and no bracelet was given. Everyone could put up a tent just like that. They asked for tickets to the VIP town, but it makes no sense to spend money on it at all - there is no difference in quality - why pay more?

UPD 2017- they ask for a ticket for a tent at the main entrance if they see that you have a tent in your hands. If in hand no tent or it is not visible, the ticket is not asked.

The ideal option for buying tickets for the Invasion

FAN ticket, plus parking. I’ll clarify right away that this is in terms of price / quality ratio and in my opinion. If you are not driving, then there are two options. Buy FAN and regular parking or just buy a VIP ticket. Look at the money for yourself here.

For those in the car. We arrived in Bolshoye Zavidovo at about 5 am on the first day of the Invasion and even then stood in a traffic jam for 4 hours, just to get to the parking lot. We were on our way back for another hour. In addition, it was necessary to walk about two kilometers from the tent to the car.

You can not buy a ticket for a tent in advance. Even if you don’t give a ride to put up a tent without a ticket, you can buy it not much more expensive right on the spot.

For those with a car. You can try to put up a tent next to the car in the parking lot (if it does not interfere with others). Yes, it's not legal to do so. But in real life, half of the parking lot was dotted with tents. The main thing is to behave like a human being. In any case, no one will kick you out and simply ask you to remove the tent.

These are the creative T-shirts people had at the festival

About tickets, I would also like to note that the invasion festival is a really profitable thing, because tickets for a concert of one artist now cost 2-3 tr., and at the invasion you can hear dozens of your favorite performers for three days with a super atmosphere of just 2 times more expensive.

What food to take on the Invasion

On this score, I read a lot of holivars and did not see the ideal option, it was painful for everyone to have different needs. I will write what I took, but I love to eat and eat deliciously.

For one person for 3 days we got:

Oranges, apples, tomatoes and cucumbers- all 3 pieces

Doshirak– I tried a lot of different homeless packages – doshirak is the best

Stew– 3 banks

Smoked sausage- 200 grams

processed cheese- 200 grams

Bread white for sliced sandwiches - a third of the loaf

cookies- 200 grams

Snickers- 2 pieces

Plus, once they bought pies, ice cream, croutons, once I bought pilaf. On the field, there will be no problems with buying food, except for lack of money. Once a good meal on the field, I would get 500 rubles each. The average person would eat one serving of the same pilaf for 250 rubles. A portion of barbecue would cost about 200 rubles. Of the alcohol on the field, only beer was sold, it cost about 200 rubles. for the bank.

Confused about the cost of water. The price of water is a robbery. Even the so-called social water cost 200 rubles. for 5 liters. And on the field in the heat, they leave very quickly. We were rescued by a 20 liter bottle in the car. On the way to the Volga River (about 3 km from the territory of the invasion) there are grocery stores with regular prices and there you can buy everything you need.

Inspection at the Invasion and what can be carried

The previous paragraph smoothly flows into the issue of screening. This is the most controversial issue throughout the history of the Invasion.

Car. Anything can be done in the car. Yes, they will look into the trunk and the passenger compartment, but they will not climb somewhere. If you carry outright smuggling, then just put it where it won't be seen. (upd some people check everything, here's a life hack for you: take what you don't want to lose, well, an alcoholic, for example, and carry it in your arms to the parking lot)

Otherwise, they throw it out of the car into the trash, even alcohol!

Personal inspection at the entrance to the field is the most interesting thing. No matter what anyone says, absolutely everything can be carried onto the field. The 2015 invasion was the most massive in the history of the festival. In three days he was visited by about 200,000 people. To arrange a full search of everyone is simply anrial, and at the same time, people constantly enter and exit the territory and each time they need to be searched. Therefore, they are randomly examined.

On the Invasion there were a lot of cheerful people in a wide variety of costumes.

How does a personal search on the Invasion actually happen?

It all depends on the mood of the inspector, and whether he likes you or not. There are situations when they let you pass just like that, and sometimes they have to undress almost to their underpants. Several people walked around us, and one walked back and forth with a knife several times, and the other was not allowed in with a spoon, SPOON, i.e. sometimes the inspection turns into insanity ... The same sleeping bags are sometimes just touched, and sometimes they need to be completely unfolded and no one cares that it is then difficult to fold it back.

Despite the news of this madhouse, here are some life hacks for you on how to smuggle something.

The cordon itself is long, so we go first to one end and try to go there. If they find something you can’t get through with, then say that everything is OK, now I’ll go to the car and take it. Turn around and leave. After a minute, having mixed with the crowd, go to the middle of the cordon to another examiner and try there. If it didn’t work there either, then follow the same pattern to the other end. Just don't get too arrogant and don't go to one twice, they remember.

The second moment during the inspection, together with the first, has a greater effectiveness. If you go without things, then your pockets will most likely be looked at. And if you have a bag larger than you in your hands, then they will look at this bag, but they will not look at you. A large bag and a small one are also quoted, often only a large one is looked at.

There were six of us and each had something forbidden during the passage. There were always a few of us who passed at all unhindered. Still we in impudent passed with water. In general, this is prohibited, but with a small bottle, some inspectors are allowed. Some do not even sniff the contents, just say that there is water, and you pass 🙂 . I also note that by the evening of the third day there was no inspection at all.

Achtung! I do not urge anyone to carry something forbidden, I cite it for informational purposes only. And remember that bringing something forbidden onto the field may not always work out, and for violating the rules of the festival, you can be “deported” from the territory of the invasion.

What to do on the Invasion

On the field all three days there is something to do. Various interactive activities, contests with prizes are held, there are sports entertainment and board games, in general, there is no time to be bored there. In addition, there are also the performances of the groups themselves. Performances were held simultaneously on two stages every day from 10.00 to 02.00. Moreover, at first I underestimated the second scene, and sometimes they burned better there than on the main one. Rock fans will just have to get excited to catch all the cool shows, because good bands play throughout the day, not just in the evening.

Airshow from the aerobatic team "Swifts", live looks impressive

There is also something to do outside the festival area. You can, for example, go swimming on the Volga. From the field on foot you will have to walk about 5 kilometers in one direction, but it didn’t bother me. Plus, there will be shops with normal prices along the way.

Rock Festival Invasion is not just called the main adventure of the summer, we were convinced of this from our own experience. Words can not convey the atmosphere that reigns on the field. And the moments when several tens of thousands of people, together with the lead singer of the Leningrad group, yell “H * d! X * y! priceless.

You could watch the Invasion from a balloon

A very useful thing, for those who are the first time:

Invasion, top view, video taken from a quadrocopter, you can see what and how is organized at the festival:

UPD - some incomprehensible copyright holders complained about the video, now there is no video 🙁

When to visit the invasion

According to the experience of last year, when we arrived in Bolshoye Zavidovo at 4 am on the first day and then stood for about 5 hours in a traffic jam from those who wanted to get to the rock festival. This time we arrived the day before at 22.00 and stood in a traffic jam for almost 2 hours. Either more people came, or everyone thought that they should arrive early. But this time we at least scored a good place in the parking lot. Conclusion - you need to arrive a couple of hours earlier.

Tickets for the Invasion

This time we went with fans. There was also one VIP ticket. In practice, we were convinced that VIP is not needed at all, all its described advantages are in fact about nothing. There were 2 extra parking bracelets. They were sold at a place where they give out parking, at the original price, almost instantly. The conclusion is indeed best tickets on Invasion (price/quality) FAN + parking.

Food on the Invasion

Above I described what exactly we took with us from food to the Invasion. This time it was the same, only a little more in quantitative terms. Since we managed to park the car close, that is, we went into it, but we didn’t carry food onto the field. This time, instead of dry alcohol, we got a tourist gas stove - an incredibly convenient thing, I tell you. For an amount of approximately 2000 r. You will get the opportunity to fully cook food. The balloon costs about 100 rubles. enough for a very long time. Now tiles are a mandatory attribute of all my trips!

Festival Invasion 2016

Last time, already on the first day, I had a feeling of delight and an understanding that I would be here again! And here I am again experiencing the Invasion. What can I say. This is great, those who doubt something, worry about some details or are simply not sure - forget about everything. If you love Russian rock - you must be on the Invasion!!!

This year, for me personally, the most epic was the first day, it was amazing in terms of the composition of the performing groups. And Leningrad closed the day annealed even brighter than last year. This time we were standing at the very stage and this is an incredible sight. It was even worth the battered shoulders and trampled feet. There was a terrible crush at the stage, plus I got into a slam against my will. But it was worth it.

Shnurov at Invasion 2016, we are just 2 meters from the stage

I will also go to the invasion of 2017, tickets have been bought, even more people have gathered, we will burn it even brighter. See you on the field!

I survived Invasion 2017

I don’t even want to talk about the dirtiest invasion in history. We've been through so much this year.

invasion 2017 in all its glory

Everything that was written was relevant, take the only boots, not galoshes, but straight boots up to your ears,)) and a raincoat not for 100 rubles, but really good, comfortable and durable. The gas stove helped a lot.

Of the changes - this time we arrived early in the morning the day before the invasion. There was no one at all!. No people, no security. We drove into the parking lot through the main entrance opposite the entrance to the territory. Moved the fence and drove in. There were 10 cars in the entire parking lot, park wherever you want, no traffic jams, no inspections, nothing, bring whatever you want, there is nobody =)

Early morning parking 1 day before the official festival date

This is what the parking lot looked like at about 7 am 1 day before the festival. At about 10 am, there were noticeably more cars. By 12 o'clock the traffic cops appeared and the inspection was already being organized. Then the people poured in a rapidly huge crowd ... break through and everything is as usual already.

This year we slept in the car (the station wagon allows you to sleep at full height). I have no idea what happened in the tent city.

I really liked the performance of Neuromonakh, but it didn’t work to “tread down” the field…

Whether I will go to the festival for the fourth time is already a question, after the mud of the 17th year ...

Invasion 2018

Parking Invasion 2018 early morning 08/02/2018, slightly more cars than last year

Every year people come to the invasion earlier and earlier! Soon in general from Monday places will be occupied at such a pace.
