Pulsating spring Teletskoye lake. Stone bay, disappearing spring and healing clay. How to get from Novosibirsk

Once every half an hour, it fills two small lakes to the brim, after which the water in them completely disappears.

It takes five minutes for the spring to fill the reservoirs, and for another ten minutes two lakes remain filled, after which the water disappears, leaving two shallow ravines instead of lakes. For about half an hour they are idle without water, after which the pulsating source wakes up again and begins the cycle.

What is surprising is that the flowing below amazing lakes the Samysh river does not take part in their filling. The road to the Altai spring lies through Biysk, and passes through the village of Srostki, Mayma, Gorno-Altaysk, Choyu, Artybash, and after Iogach you will reach the source. The total distance from biysk is 284 kilometers.

Leaving Biysk to the Chuisky tract, after the bridge over the Biya, continue moving in a straight line. Immediately after the departure from Biysk begins federal highway with high-quality asphalt on four lanes. Having entered the village of Maima, you reach the turn signal to the left to Gorno-Altaisk. Passing through it, we are guided by road signs, heading to the village of Artybash and Lake Teletskoye. Having driven about a hundred kilometers from Gorno-Altaisk, we cross another bridge over the Biya and reach a fork - then we keep the path to the right, to Artybash.

We pass the villages of Artybash, Iogach and move along the right bank of the Iogach River to Mount Kokuya five kilometers to the fork - we choose the road straight ahead. Having driven nine kilometers from the village of Iogach, we drive to the bridge and cross to the opposite bank and again move along the river for three kilometers, then turn left.

There are four more kilometers to the source, which can be driven along the river ford and a rut in the forest. If the car does not allow you to make such a path, you can walk it - it will not take more than an hour. Walking along the track through the forest, you will get to the Samysh River, on its bank there is a Pulsating Spring.

We traveled as a family, two adults, two teenagers and a 5 year old. I searched for a hotel on the Internet (criteria cheap, more or less normal comfort). took a risk, chose private hotel in Artybash (on Lake Teletskoye, this category of small vacation spots is called a manor, the risk is that I did not find a single review about it on the Internet). Although, in my opinion, the only estate that has its own website. Phoned the owner by phone, booked two rooms for 2 nights by prepayment of 50%. We went by private car (3 hours of leisurely drive from us to Artybash).

The rooms are clean, quite spacious, it is possible to put an extra bed. On the first floor of our house there was a common kitchen where you can cook your own food for free. The kitchen has dining tables, chairs, a refrigerator, a 4-burner gas stove with an oven, a microwave oven, a toaster, a kettle, crockery, cutlery, etc.

In the yard there are 3 places for " cultural recreation”, one under the roof, two outdoors, 4 barbecues, grills and skewers, everything is free, birch firewood 100 rubles (but no one forbids bringing and using our own, which we did). Places for cars at each house (there are 3 in total in the estate) for free.

The hostess meets you at the entrance to the village in your car and takes you to the estate or you go after her if you use your own transport. 30 minutes walk. The owners will organize all excursions for you, or they will conduct them themselves, or they will phone you, agree with the organizer of the excursion, take you to the place of departure (and then pick you up). If you want to organize it yourself, they will tell you where to go, what would be agreed or where is the place you need and how to get to it. Organizational services free of charge.

Excursions and activities that have been visited.

A trip to the disappearing spring - the owners of the estate themselves spent 40 minutes one way on the UAZ along mountain road to the taiga, 1 hour at the source. The price is 1000 rubles per person (minimum 4 people in a group), the child was given a ride for free, the price includes a thermos with herbal tea and disposable tableware.

Boat ride on Lake Teletskoye (Five Wonders). 2.5 - 3 hours, viewing 5 waterfalls, with a traditional stop at the Korbu waterfall (40 minutes). As already mentioned, the organization of excursions and delivery to the pier of Lake Teletskoye and back is free of charge. A place in the boat is 1,300 rubles per person, a child is 50% (650), and the captain of the boat took only 600 rubles per child, he said it’s better to buy ice cream for a child for 50 rubles.

The exhibition is a zoo. There are wolf, wild boar, foxes, badgers, lynx, deer, sika deer, elk, musk deer, horse, pony, geese, ducks, turkeys, some unidentified animal, something between a badger and an anteater. Ungulates can be fed bread or fruit. The price is 150 rubles per adult, 65 rubles per child, the time of nailing at the exhibition is not limited.

Excursion to the holy spring - we ourselves walked 20 minutes along the forest road from the shore of Lake Teletskoye. All age groups enjoyed the trip. Moreover, we were already on Lake Teletskoye in 2013 in another estate, where conditions, convenience of living and service were worse.

All roads to Gorny Altai go through the city of Biysk, so the description will be from this city. The route looks like this:

The distance from Biysk is approximately 284 km. Of which 4 km will have to be covered on foot.

GPS coordinates: 51.695587, 87.297459

In Biysk, after the bridge over the Biya, we drive straight ahead without turning anywhere. Behind Biysk will begin historical part Chuysky tract. The road is excellent asphalt, and immediately after Biysk there is a 4-lane road. True, not for long, after 20 km it will become an ordinary two-lane, but still of excellent quality. In the village of Maima, following the sign, we go left to Gorno-Altaisk. Gorno-Altaysk - quite large locality, the only city of the Altai Republic. But it's hard to get lost in it. We pass the whole city following the road signs to Lake Teletskoye and the village of Artybash. After 100 km after Gorno-Altaisk, immediately after the bridge over the Biya River, there will be a fork. At the pointer to Artybash we leave to the right. After 40 km - the village of Artybash.

We cross the bridge to the village of Iogach. We pass the village and drive along the right (geographically) bank of the Iogach River towards Mount Kokuya. After 5 km the road forks. To the left - on, but we need to go straight.

After 9 km from the village of Iogach we cross the bridge to the other side of the river and also drive along the bank. After another 3 km there will be a left branch, we go there. The source remained about 4 km across the ridge.

In principle, you can go on foot, leaving the car by the road. Walking about an hour. The forest track will lead you to the Samysh River (the left tributary of Lake Teletskoye), on the banks of which there will be a Disappearing Spring.

Our guest Svetlana offers us her review of interesting places, routes and excursions to give us the opportunity to navigate and choose where exactly to go with your children on Teletskoye.

What to visit on Lake Teletskoye with children: excursions and attractions

Arriving at Lake Teletskoye, especially for the first time, you immediately want to set sail. If the weather is favorable, of course, this should be done first.

Boat excursions

There are two transport options for traveling on the lake: a motorboat or a small boat or the Pioneer of Altai motor ship.

Pioneer of Altai

Pioneer of Altai visits only. Parking there lasts 40 minutes, the total tour takes about 3 hours. The ship has a cinema hall, buffet, comfortable shared cabins. At your disposal is a large open deck. A lot of impressions from a leisurely comfortable sailing, a photo shoot in a marine style and a lot of landscape photos on the way. There are shops at the waterfall with delicious food and souvenirs, so cash will come in handy. Take warm clothes with you, because on the deck in the middle of the lake it can be much cooler than on the shore.

If your child is unable to sit still for a long time, or you want to see everything at once, then the boat trip option is more suitable for you. The usual list of sightseeing places in this case: Korbu waterfall, Chodor waterfall, Stone Bay. You will spend less time swimming and more time on land. But keep in mind: there is a sharp change in weather on the lake and there are storms. Therefore, sailing with children on a ship is safer. And in general: the ship itself is already a kind of excursion.

Kamenny-bay-on-Teletsky

You will get a grandiose impression of a water journey by crossing the entire lake from end to end from north to south. The end point of your journey is Gulf of Karagay. This magical place, protected from the winds, seems to be created for families with children of any age and is not inferior to Black Sea coast. Here you will find really warm water and sand beach overlooking sacred mountain Altyn-Tuu. Often people come here only for a day - in the morning there, in the evening back. But if you are with children - such a “game is not worth the candle”, the kids will only get tired. Plan to spend at least a couple of full days on Karagay! You can live in your tent, in a campsite or in a house at a camp site. Go to a cafe to eat or cook your own food on a fire.

Excursion to the Chulyshman valley- the route associated with the journey to the south of the lake. For him, you land on the shore to the right of the mouth of the Chulyshman River at Cape Kyrsai. To the purpose of the tour they drop by car. Usually this is the cascade of Uchar waterfalls. You will need hiking clothes and comfortable closed shoes. For a day trip it is possible to visit one of these beautiful places. Climbing Uchar is quite difficult, therefore it is recommended for children from 12 years old.

Uchar on Chulyshman

Going to the Stone Mushrooms is much easier, but even there there is a long climb uphill.

Stone mushrooms on Chulyshman

If you are going on a day trip, it will be difficult for young children to endure such an intense experience. If your group goes for several days, then it will be possible to visit also beautiful waterfall Kurkure, which is located not far from the Katuyaryk Pass, famous for its serpentine. The Chulyshman valley differs from the northern part of the lake by its dry and hot summer climate. And the landscape here is completely different. Fantastic views await you majestic mountains and a turbulent river with emerald-colored water.

So, you have returned from sailing, and there is still time to visit interesting places the villages of Artybash and Iogach and in the taiga near Teletsk. First, we will look at places specially created for tourists to visit, and finish with natural sightseeing sites.

Excursions in the vicinity of the villages of Artybash and Iogach

Let me explain one nuance that misleads vacationers. When it comes to two different villages - Artybash and Iogach - in fact, this is one rural settlement. You will enter Artybash immediately when you arrive at Teletskoye. And you will get to Iogach simply by crossing the bridge, which, by the way, is geographical border between Lake Teletskoye and the Biya River. In Iogach there is a Maria Ra supermarket, a hospital and a pharmacy. Everything related to tourism is located in Artybash, with the exception of camp sites, of course. They are dispersed in both villages.

Probably there is a child who is indifferent to horses. Walking along Artybash, you can hire a horse for a little ride or arrange a horseback riding tour. There are horse rentals on the lake shore opposite the Evseich cafe, near the Victory Monument and opposite the Edem boarding house. It is possible to arrange an excursion to the Teletsk taiga on ATVs. It will be interesting for teenagers rafting on the Biya.

At the Old Helipad, you will find a kayak stand and you can either just go kayaking or go on a kayak excursion to Stone Bay. Of course, this trip is for older children.

Zoo Edelweiss- although it is within the village, it is better to get there by car. The zoo contains wild and farm animals and birds. Animals are allowed to be fed. You can buy food at the zoo, or you can take carrots cut into cubes with you.

EthnoPark located in the village of Artybash, it is easy to walk there on foot. Here, in the traditional Altai dwellings - ail and alanchik - you will be immersed in Altai culture, fairy tales and legends of the Altai people, National cuisine. It will be interesting for school-age children and, no doubt, for all adults. You can take a photo in Altai color. Pre-registration is required for the tour.

ethnopark

Gallery "Legend of Altyn Köl" This real art gallery is located 300 meters to the left of the bridge in the center of the souvenir market. In front of her is the Tree of Desires, effectively tied with ribbons of all colors of the rainbow. Inside there are paintings by artists of Lake Teletskoye and handicrafts of local craftsmen. All of this can be purchased. Interesting master classes are also held here, they must be arranged by phone in advance. The gallery is visited with children of any age, but it may turn out that your little ones will not let you enjoy the beauty to the fullest. They are enough to communicate with the beautiful three minutes. Gallery visit is free , master classes are paid.

Museum of local lore "Ermi-Tash" stands near the famous excursion trail to the Third River. By the way, these two excursions can be combined by going to the museum before climbing the trail. Since this is a museum, unlike the EthnoPark, it has a great historical focus. There are exhibits and photographs related to the past of Lake Teletskoye. In a conversation with visitors, emphasis is placed on the spiritual culture of the Altaians, including shamanism. It is advisable to sign up for a tour by phone.

Shilkin Exhibition Hall located near the Old Helipad on the bank of the Teletskoye. Leonid Alekseevich Shilkin is the oldest and most respected of the numerous artists of Lake Teletskoye. An exhibition of his works is arranged on the ground floor of the house where the artist and his wife live. The diversity of creativity is striking: not only oil painting on canvas, magical watercolors, magnificent pastels, but also porcelain painting with Altai taiga flowers, wood painting and carving, unusual stone paintings ... If you live in a village, you can only walk there with older children , through the territory of the Golden Lake camp site and the Old Helipad. For preschoolers it is better to take a taxi. The abundance of fragile exhibits in the public domain may not allow you to relax if you come with the kids. It is desirable to record by phone in order to surely catch the owners of the house.

Swimming pool at the tourist center Zolotoe Ozero. Since the water in Lake Teletskoye warms up only by August, and even then it may seem uncomfortable for swimming - I suggest going with the children to the pool under open sky, with water heating. The pool is surrounded by a boardwalk and there is a café nearby. Subscription is valid for the whole day. The depth of the pool is designed for adults, so it is better to go there with children from 10 years old. The camp site is the oldest on the Teletskoye coast, it was founded in the 60s, during the Soviet era, when tourism on Lake Teletskoye had just begun to develop. There is a similar pool at the new camp site " Mountain Lake “But it is quite far from the village, they get there by car.

In our selection from Detkitur you can see other equally interesting bases on Lake Teletskoye.

With small children on a hot day it is good to go to green beach of the Iogach river. This is a clean shallow mountain river, the water here warms up quickly. Passage to the shore in the village of Iogach, about 400 meters directly from the bridge across the Teletskoye-Biya, opposite guest house Lud-Vic. Here you can sunbathe calmly on the grass while the children play nearby in shallow water. The place is very picturesque, you can do beautiful pictures. Ducks and geese swim in the river - children love to feed them!

green beach of Iogach village

On the other side of the river Iogach there is "Wolf Farm"- the peasant economy of the Volkov family with many children. It is from there that the ducks on the green beach. In addition to ducks and geese, chickens and several goats live here. As well as charming kids, ducklings, goslings and chickens! On the tour, you will stroke and feed everyone you want, and hold the smallest in your arms. A rustic-style photo session is included in the program of the visit. The hosts will tell interesting stories about their animals and drink tea with pastries on home products, treat them with milk, eggs, cottage cheese. As a keepsake, you can get special "farm" souvenirs. It is advisable to arrange a tour by phone 89059843858 .

Wolf farm

Taiga apiary of the Shishkins. interesting long excursion to the taiga near Teletsk to the apiary. You will be completely immersed in the mysterious world of bees and the subtleties of beekeeping for two whole hours! And also herbal tea with honey tasting for a sincere conversation. The tour is recommended for school children. For a trip to the apiary, you will need to contact the tour organizer. The round trip takes about 40 minutes.

Natural attractions of Lake Teletskoye

Now let's move on to the review of natural sightseeing objects.

Tilan-Tuu observation mountain- one of the most popular routes within the village of Artybash. It can be advised for school-age children. The view from above: the lake, both villages and the surrounding mountains is certainly impressive. And if you think of some kind of surprise for the children upstairs, on the observation deck, then the walk will become especially bright. If desired, it will be possible to combine a trip to Tilan-Tuu with a visit to the zoo or with an excursion to the EthnoPark. It is better not to climb the mountain in wet weather - the steep path becomes very slippery.

Silver spring is located within the boundaries of the village of Artybash, on the slope of a mountain overgrown with forests. This is a healing spring with a studied composition of water, which contains a large percentage of silver ions and radon impurities. It is especially beneficial for vision and has tonic properties. An ancient cedar grows nearby, which is about 400 years old. The source is consecrated, so it stands next to worship cross. Don't forget to bring your magical water bottles! You can go there with children of any age.

Third river runs down the slope to Lake Teletskoye outside the village of Artybash. It is the most popular and the most beautiful hiking route. Usually it is impossible to walk along the channel of the forest river because of the blockages and thickets. Thanks to the paved path, all the secret beauties will be revealed before you. Cascades of small waterfalls, fonts, picturesque tree trunks and boulders covered with moss and ferns. Small children can be carried in their arms. Toddlers of three years will be happy to climb themselves.

It is on this route that you should be wary of ticks. During the trip, examine the children several times and look around yourself.

font 3 rivers

Mount Kibetek so named because the outline of its slope resembles the keel of an overturned boat. The beginning of the trail to Kibetek in the village of Iogach. The mountain is interesting in that at its base, under one of the huge boulders, there is an entrance to underground cave, and under the neighboring one, even in hot summers, ice remains. Further, the route goes up the stone scree - kurumnik. It makes sense to climb up to a stone called a tank. Then the kurumnik ends and the forest begins. From here you can see a beautiful view of the source of the Biya, the lake, Artybash and Iogach.

kurumnik in Kibetek

On Mount Kibetek, children of any age will like it very much. Moms with "tame" babies can go on this trip if they have a sling or an ergo backpack with them. Do not forget that going down is always more difficult. Be careful when descending. Refrain from hiking in wet weather.

Mount Kibetek

Disappearing source- the best taiga route for children, a real natural miracle. This car trip, at the end of which you need to walk a little. The road will be mastered only by UAZ or ATV in dry weather. You will find yourself in a real forest lodge. Next to a small hut there are two large, about a meter deep, indentations in the ground, lined with stones. Water appears in them and rises until it begins to overflow over the edges. After a while, she leaves in the same mysterious way, leaving the recesses empty. As in Volkov's fairy tale about the Seven Underground Kings! The frequency with which this happens cannot be predicted - maybe a miracle will happen in a few minutes, or maybe in a couple of hours. Therefore, take food with you, because it is not known how long you have to wait until the source manifests itself. The round trip itself, not counting the waiting time, takes an hour and a half.

Climbing Mount Kokuya on a chairlift is an amazing opportunity to easily climb into the highlands. Do not forget to take warm clothes - during the ascent and at the top it can be much colder than at the foot. Having risen, you can sit in a cafe, admire the beautiful panorama of mountain ranges from observation deck and walk in the mountains. Suitable for children of any age. The lift is located outside the village of Iogach, you can get there by car. IN winter time here are two ski slopes with drag and chair lifts.

This concludes my review. I want to note that you have read about the most popular excursions and routes. But if you turn to the services of local guides and travel organizers, you will be offered many more opportunities to get to know Lake Teletskoye and its environs better. For example, to visit the reserved village of Yailu or the gardens of the cordon of Bele ... It is worth coming to Teletskoye Lake with children many times!

In the northeast of the Altai ridge is the natural treasure of Altai - Lake Teletskoye. In the local dialect, the name Altyn-Kel means “golden” and fully characterizes this unique pearl of the Altai Mountains. The place is magical, ancient history, its legends and sights.

Location on the map of Russia

A visit to the lake is included in many hiking and horse riding routes in Eastern Altai. As a rule, this is the starting or ending point of the route. During the years of the USSR, such a point was Balykcha - the end point of the popular route number 77, on south coast Teletskoye lake. Now you can stay here in one of the campsites or at the Chulyshman camp site. All of them with beautiful lake views.

What is worth seeing in the vicinity, if you are already on its shores

There are many amazing places to visit on Lake Teletskoye. Some are quite far away, others are completely hard to reach, although they will certainly be worth the effort!

Reserve

Lake Teletskoye was formed as a result of a tectonic fault in the earth's crust and the melting of glaciers. Its water is clean and cold. In the deepest place to the bottom 323 meters. It can be noted that this is the second deepest lake in Russia after Baikal. Its water surface is not always calm. Sometimes the height of the waves reaches 4 meters! When choosing a boat trip, you need to take this into account. In some places you can land on the shore, and then you will have the opportunity to admire natural beauties from viewing platforms. Coastline very spectacular and you can spend hours admiring the rocks, cliffs and canyons cut by waterfalls.

Beautiful views Artybash and Lake Teletskoye

Since part of the lake is located on the territory of the Altai State nature reserve where you can meet wild animals. It is enough to actually see a brown bear, deer, elk, musk deer, roe deer, chipmunks, ibex, badger and sable. But the snow leopard - only if you are very lucky.

Korbu Waterfall

Be sure to visit the Korbu waterfall. There is an opportunity to come close to it and admire its power from the observation deck. Here you will be offered local souvenirs, and in a cafe nearby you can get acquainted with local cuisine.

Stone bay and coastline

The shores of the lake are picturesque and amazing. One has only to go hiking, and you will certainly discover some wonder of nature! These can be the oldest natural drawings on stones, imprints of volcanic activity and many other amazing things. There will be something to tell at home after the hike!

A stone bay is located a few kilometers from Artybash. This is an impressive place - a pile of huge black boulders forms a circle on the shore of Lake Teletskoye with water, silent, to match the stones. They say that stones fell from the mountain many centuries ago, versions of education are different, but in the end people got unforgettable place pilgrimages.

Scree

Right behind Iogach, you can make a small ascent and get on a stone scree. This place is also worth visiting. The slopes of the mountain are strewn with kurumnik - a natural scree of stones of various shapes. From here you can see a beautiful view of the villages and Teletskoye itself with Biya. By the way, magnificent views open from both the left and right banks - you can climb the mountain from any side and enjoy the splendor of nature.

Perfectly clear lake water

Disappearing source

20 kilometers from Iogach there is a completely mystical place which is definitely worth including in your travel itinerary! This is a disappearing source. You can get there by a suitable car, on foot or by horse. Two stone bowls certain time are filled with water from an underground source, and then the water leaves right before your eyes.

The Biya itself, flowing from Lake Teletskoye, is a wonderful place to relax. Its banks are calm and serene. You can sit for hours on the shore and admire nature, listen to the rustle of centuries-old cedars over your head or what the river is talking about.

Waterfall and recreation center "Estyuba"

Zoo "Edelweiss"

The petting zoo located in Artybash is the only one in Altai Republic. And it's worth a visit! There are collected more than thirty representatives of the fauna - from poultry (which, among other things, you can also stroke!) To deer and wolves. Animals can be fed, to be in their environment. The kids will be delighted, and parents will receive a positive charge.

Gifts of nature. What is rich in the Altai Territory

While relaxing on Teletskoye, you should definitely treat yourself to fresh grayling, whitefish, taiga honey and mead, pine nuts or meadow herbs. All this can be bought on the spot from local residents in Iogach or Artybash.
Visit this unforgettable place and it will leave an imprint on your soul forever!

Where to stay: hostel, campsite, guest house

On the north coast. The villages of Iogach and Artybash. During the trip, you can stop in Iogach or Artybash - villages located at the confluence of Lake Teletskoye and the Biya River. There are a lot of mini-hotels, recreation centers, guest houses and other options. The last comfortable dwelling is at the Third River waterfall, about 6 km east of Artybash. Further, mainly cordons begin: Baigazan, Kamga. The exception is a guest house in the village of Yailu.
If you go down from Artybash along the western coast, then 15 km from it, the last dwelling is at the Estyuba waterfall, at the recreation center of the same name.

On the south coast. Several campsites and campsites are located on the southern tip of the lake, at the confluence of the Chulyshman River.

East coast. On east coast from accommodation - only tents and rare cordons: Kokshi and Chelyush (approximately in the center of the lake), Bele and Chiri cordons (closer to the southern part).

There will be no shortage of offers and you just have to choose your accommodation for the night according to your soul and possibilities - from a simple summer house to hotel complex with a full package of services. There are both winter and summer accommodation options. In the villages of Iogach and Artybash there are shops, an ATM, pharmacies, cafes.

There is no shortage of excursions and leisure here either. Every day will be filled with impressions, and in the evening you can relax, sit by the fire or take a steam bath!
