Val Di Fassa

Situated in a wonderful valley with green meadows and dark spruce groves, in the heart of the Adamello Brenta Nature Reserve. Here, on the one hand, rise the Brenta Dolomites, on the other, Adamello and Presanella. When it snows, it reminds fairyland from childhood dreams. Spending your winter holiday here means visiting probably the most beautiful resort in the Alps. Recognized as the capital of skiing, offering a wide range of skiing opportunities, located at an altitude of 1550m above sea level. This is one of the most modern and equipped resorts in the Alps. As for tourists going to Madonna di Campiglio, the resort has all levels of pistes for them. Directly above the resort there are 60 km of prepared trails at altitudes from 1550 to 2580 m above sea level. Together with Folgarida and Marilleva, neighboring regions connected to the Madonna cable car network, this is about the same amount. The recently opened new gondola made it possible to expand the ski area to 150 km. Later, for the divine beauty of the surrounding landscapes, the resort received its modern name - Madonna di Campiglio, and in memory of the imperial family, the Habsburg Carnival is regularly held here. About 1 thousand people live in Madonna di Campiglio; the resort can accommodate approximately 27 thousand tourists. The main type of accommodation is hotels, apartments, cottages. In general, Madonna di Campiglio has a fairly well-developed infrastructure and good hotels. But still the resort lacks traditional alpine charm. However, this resort is not cheap. 2.5 hours drive from Milan and you are there! The ideal price-quality ratio is really what this resort is all about. The area is filled with restaurants, pizzerias and bars, and in one of the Madesimo hotels there is a wellness center “Ninfea” with Turkish and Roman baths, a sauna, and a jacuzzi (Via per Motta, 14).
