Winter slides with a lift. Where to go downhill? Zelenograd administrative district

It's no secret that sledding, skiing, ice skating, and ice skating are a favorite Russian pastime. Moreover, it has long been transformed into a tradition, the roots of which go back to the distant past. The winter period in our country lasts on average five months: you must agree, this is quite a long time. In ancient times, sleighs were almost the only vehicle in the cold season. And the pleasure of traveling on it was not cheap.

Today, downhill skating as one of the options has not lost its former popularity. Well, what else to do and entertain your own children in new year holidays? The answer suggests itself. However, not everyone knows (especially guests of the capital’s metropolis) where to go downhill in Moscow. Let's consider this issue in more detail. It should be noted that there are a huge number of places in Belokamennaya where you can enjoy traditional Russian entertainment.

Boring Garden

If you don’t have the slightest idea about where to go downhill in Moscow, then go there.

There is simply an incredible number of ski trails here: from small and gentle to huge and steep. And in some areas it is possible to ride on paths. The central place for skating is located to the right of the entrance (between the eighteenth and twentieth buildings on Leninsky Prospekt). However, be careful: brake in time, otherwise you may fly directly to the roadway.

Kolomenskoye Park

The steepest routes are in the central zone of the park (the river bank behind the Temple of the Ascension). If you walk a little further towards the hills, you can see crowds of children storming the lower slopes. You can climb up from the foot of the hills and enjoy a rather picturesque landscape. In a word, if you don’t know where to go downhill in Moscow, then one of the best places- this is Kolomenskoye Park.

Kuzminsky Park

The main trajectories of routes here are focused on the cascade of Kuzminsky ponds.

You will find the steepest and highest ones at Nizhny Kuzminsky and Shibaevsky.

Sparrow Hills

Many residents of the metropolitan metropolis, when asked where to go downhill in Moscow, will confidently answer: “On Sparrow Hills!” In this part of the city there is perhaps the highest track, which can immediately get the blood pumping in an amateur luger. The slide is located directly under observation deck. Crowds of people come here on weekends, and the chance of bumping into someone is very high.

Krylatsky Hills

Some, if you ask them about where to go sledding down a hill in Moscow, will recommend going to the Krylatsky Hills.

There is also wide choose routes Owners of snow scooters, in particular, can use the cycling tracks. In some places they move into areas with serious slopes, which increases the speed of movement.

Troparevsky Park

Not far from the summer theater and pond there is a whole arsenal of slides, and the highest of them (20 meters) has a fairly small springboard. In this park area you can also rent inflatable cheesecake sleds. So if you are wondering where to relax and go sledding down a hill in Moscow, you should go to Troparevsky Park.

Novodevichy Convent

In frosty weather, the descent is quite a steep hill.

It would be a good idea to visit the monastery itself, enjoy the ringing of the bells and stroll along the local paths.

Losiny Island

An incredible variety of slides are located on the territory of Losiny Island. The steepest slopes are located in the entrance area to the forest park from Rostokinsky Proezd. Also popular among Muscovites are the trails located near the Moscow Ring Road and in close proximity to Kurganskaya Street.

Palace of Children's Creativity

Are you wondering where to go downhill in Moscow with children? Don't hesitate and go for the DDT. Near Universitetsky Prospekt, on the territory of this building, there is a massive ravine with a whole arsenal of steep descents. Visitors are captivated by the fact that there is a lot of space here and the likelihood of a sledding “accident” is reduced to almost zero.

Of course, this is a long list of places where you can go downhill skiing. You can go to any slope you like.

Skiing

Of course, many people remember with particular warmth those times when, during physical education lessons at school, the teacher winter time allowed the class to go skiing.

Such a pastime had many advantages: fresh air, cheerfulness and extremely positive emotions. In our country skiing has always been at the peak of popularity, since the weather conditions in Russia are simply created for it to be practiced both at a professional and amateur level. Moreover, for example, compared to snowboarding, skiing provides greater physical activity, since skiing involves different muscle groups. And believe me, this is just one of the many reasons why Russians love skiing.

Of course, in the metropolitan area there are many places where you can practice this sport.

So, where can you go downhill skiing in Moscow? Of course, the ideal area for this is park areas, of which there are countless in the capital. Moreover, most of them have ski rental points, so if you forgot your ski equipment or you can’t afford it, you can rent it. The price of the minimum set varies approximately from 100 to 300 rubles for one hour.

Please also note that to receive it you need to leave a document as collateral.

Bitsevsky Park

The Alfa-Bitsa sports club is located here. In this institution you can learn how to ski and, if you wish, take part in competitions that are organized here every weekend. has several ski routes, the average length of which is five kilometers.

Izmailovsky Park

Do you want to know where else to relax and go skiing in Moscow? Of course, you should go to Izmailovsky Park. A sports arena was built in this place, equipped ski slope, which is also well lit at night.

It is noteworthy that a significant proportion of ski routes are located at a fairly decent distance from the center of Moscow. Let's list some of them.

There is a sports school at the center where beginners learn the basics of the art of skiing.

Do you want to go skiing and snowboarding in the summer? There is nothing simpler: this service is provided by the first ski center in Russia, operating all 12 months of the year. It covers an area of 24 thousand square kilometers. Climatic conditions It's always comfortable here.

Conclusion

Of course, the Russian capital is not Switzerland. But in any case, to go sledding or skiing, you don’t have to spend a lot of money on European tours. It's enough to live in Moscow. Believe me, in the metropolitan metropolis you can also get great pleasure from the traditional Russian fun, which was mentioned at the beginning of this article.

Every winter, ice and snow slides appear in Moscow where you can go sledding and tubing. 2019 was no exception to the rule, when every year there are only more places for sledding and cheesecake riding. However, the traditional ski areas remain the same.

Where to go tubing in Moscow

Ice and snow slides in Moscow can be divided into three types:

  • Slides where there are no restrictions and you can ride anything: on a sled, on an ice rink, or just on your feet or on your butt - all this is completely free.
  • Slides where you can only use tubing. If you have your own cheesecake and don’t need to rent it, which is located right on the hill, skating becomes completely free.
  • Slides where there is no free ride in principle and, as a rule, the use of your own equipment is not allowed.

On paid slides, payment is hourly or for each descent. The prices may not always please you, but if the slide is equipped with a lift, the ride becomes very comfortable.

Snow and ice slides in Moscow parks on the map

How to choose tubing for skating

The most significant characteristic of the tubing is its outer diameter in the state when the cheesecake is already filled with air.

Dependence of the cheesecake diameter on the height of the skater:

  • Child height up to 110 cm - tubing diameter 65 - 85 cm
  • Height up to 140 cm – tube diameter 90 – 95 cm
  • Height up to 175 cm, tubing 100 - 110 cm is suitable
  • For people taller than 175 cm, you can use tubing with a diameter of 120 - 125 cm

Of course, these recommendations are quite conditional. If you are planning to ride together with a child, it is better to choose a slightly larger tube, with a diameter of at least 120 cm. The main thing is that you can hold it comfortably without flying out of the tube while skating. For this reason, you should not buy a very large tube. small child for growth. For overweight people, it is better to choose a cheesecake with a larger diameter.

P.S. Prices and terms of service for slides are provided as a guide only and are subject to change. The list of places for skiing down the mountains in Moscow and the near Moscow region on cheesecakes and sleds is not complete.

Skiing down the mountain has been a favorite pastime for both children and adults at all times. The cardboards and plywood that were placed under oneself to glide better were replaced by comfortable, inflatable sleds - tubes.

Why has tubing become so popular? It is not only safe, but also fun - it invigorates, produces joy hormones, strengthens family friendships and even entire work teams.

Therefore, many people have a question: where to show up for cheesecakes. Fortunately, there are more than enough places for this. All kinds of slopes in the yard, in the forest, in the park, etc. are suitable for this. If you are not sure that this is yours, or there is nowhere at home to store an inflatable sled, you can rent a tubing - it’s inexpensive and convenient. And also, if you don’t ride all the time, or are traveling with a large group, it’s easier to rent one.

If you plan to ride with children, it is better to choose not very steep and not very high slides. Although children may be drawn to extreme sports, their safety is paramount. Children can ride independently on a children's cheesecake, or together with an adult on a large tube. It is better to be guided by the rule - for small children there is a low height, older ones can be allowed to ride from higher slopes.

In general, there are several types of winter slides: wild but very picturesque, unequipped natural slopes and artificial slides. To ride most of them, it is enough to buy an entrance ticket to the ice town. But there are also ice slides of a special design, where a fee is charged for each descent.

A separate type of slides are publicly accessible tubing tracks in city parks with “cheesecake” rentals. Hourly payment is practiced here. Let's hope that this winter the weather will still allow fans of downhill skiing to have plenty of fun and recharge themselves in a great mood. But be sure to remember safety. After all, the organizers of such entertainment warn: “Using tubing is your own risk!”
