Minuses:

  • The weather often fails; on Samui on New Year’s (and in December in general) there can be winds and showers. We recommend reading about and familiarizing yourself with the weather before your trip;
  • tours are more expensive than to other resorts.

New Year in Bangkok - 2020

On New Year's Eve, Bangkok turns into a glowing beehive. The main festive events take place on the Asiatic embankment. A stage is being built near the Ferris wheel where local stars perform. By midnight there is no longer a crowd on the shore: people who were relaxing in nearby cafes and sushi bars join in. After the ceremonial countdown and festive fireworks, everyone slowly disperses to catch the metro, which closes after two o'clock in the morning. Prices for food and entertainment

For a festive banquet, you need to reserve a place in advance; on New Year's Eve, the cost of the minimum order starts from 1,500 baht for a bottle of champagne. On other days, you can have lunch for two for 200-300 baht, dinner from 1,200 baht.
