Third terminal (T3)

Singapore Metro (MRT)

Bus (36/36A)

The bus, like the metro, is a fairly inexpensive form of public transport. For a 10 km bus ride you will need to pay 2 Singapore dollars in cash or 1.35 SGD if you pay with an EZ-Link card.

However, this is the slowest way to get to the city center. In addition, there is only one bus from the airport, 36/36A, which departs from the underground parking of terminals 1, 2 and 3.

The 36 bus stops on many streets including Marine Parade Road, Somerset Road and Orchard Road. Travelers whose hotels are located near Somerset or Orchard tube stations can easily reach them on this bus.

Bus fares can be paid either in cash or with an EZ-Link card. The driver does not give change, so to pay in cash, you will need to have the exact amount with you and put the money into a special machine inside the bus.
