Summer is my favorite time of year. I usually spend it with my parents. We travel to different cities and countries, relax at the seaside. But this year my summer was completely different. Grandma Polina invited me to visit. She lives in a small village on the coast big lake. When I first saw her old house on the edge of the forest, I thought I was in a fairy tale. The house had a real Russian stove, and water had to be carried from a well. My grandmother and I were inseparable.
