Price + quality The hotel was chosen from the following criteria: location - as close as possible to beach and beautiful territory. I received all this. I booked the cheapest room. Of the minuses, the rooms are already tired, require renovation, and there is no window to the street from the bedroom, only a window to the toilet. The area is beautiful. Across the road is a beach for surfers. Another minus is that the rooms begin to be cleaned at 6 am and the workers are so loud that you can hear them in the room. Overall I recommend the hotel. My rating is 8/10

Excellent hotel The hotel is excellent in terms of price-quality ratio. The room is large, nice balcony, has everything you need, everything works, they clean it regularly. The area is small but green. From the balcony there was a view of a huge ficus tree where many squirrels lived. The staff is hardworking, the area is cleaned early in the morning, they are always planting, pruning, watering something, well done. The pool is large, clean, there are few people, there are plenty of empty sun loungers. The pool bar opens late at 11am. Upon arrival, they took a deposit of 1 million rubles; they absolutely do not take them in dollars. Since they didn’t know what to do with this million on the last day, they had to drink it away at the pool bar. There you can also order food from the restaurant, which will be delivered to the pool. The quality of the food is good, but the prices for alcohol are high, the deposit was only enough for 2 days. The beach is across the road, the location is quite good, close shopping mall, 10 minutes walk to Matahari, decent infrastructure around. The result is hotels of this level in Thailand and Vietnam at a price almost 2 times more expensive

Excellent quality for a modest priceThe hotel clearly offers more than you would expect for its price. We had a superior ground floor. A little shabby, but with a comfortable bed, large bathroom and fast internet. The hotel has an excellent location, across the road from the beach and next to a new shopping center, with plenty of good cafes nearby. The hotel area is large and beautiful, the pool is decent, depth 1.7 m. In the evenings, DJs play in the hotel cafe and a fun party gathers, but you couldn’t hear the music in the room.

I'm happy with everything Liked everything. The furniture in the room is old, but general impression this has not changed about the hotel. Great restaurant with live music and low prices. I liked the pool bar. The hotel does a very good massage (we went to other salons several times, but came to the conclusion that it was better to overpay a little and get a massage at the hotel - very relaxing, 5 stars!). If we go to Bali again, we will stay in the same hotel.

The hotel hosts such weekly cultural events, like cooking classes and Indonesian language classes.

The beach can be reached in just 1 minute. Grand Istana Rama is located next to Kuta Beach, within walking distance of Kuta Square and the vibrant nightlife of Jalan Legian. It features an outdoor swimming pool with a bar.

Overlooking Kuta Beach, Samudera Restaurant serves local, Italian and seafood dishes throughout the day. The Tequila Bar has sofas with cushions where you can relax and admire the sunset views. Guests can enjoy a DJ and live music performed by a band.

Kuta in fabulous Bali is a bustling place where surfers and pros gather on the beach during the day and a party spot at night. This is exactly the description that can be found on the Internet. However this hotel stands apart. Upon arrival on the fabulous island, you find yourself at a tiny airport, from which you immediately exit into the city. There was no place to park taxis or buses here; people who greet you with signs crowd into a small area. It took me 2 hours to find the right person. Why arrive on time, tourists won’t go anywhere anyway. It’s not far to get to the hotel, or after a day-long flight it already seems so. Check-in was a dark night, but trying to drag my suitcase off-road, I already appreciated the hotel area. The deluxe room is quite large in size standard: 2 beds, air conditioning, bedside tables, wardrobe, table, TV (no Russian channels). Shower and toilet. I was especially pleased with the balcony overlooking the garden, otherwise there would have been nowhere to dry things. There are also slippers and umbrellas in the closet (they came in handy when the wild downpours started), don’t try to take these with you - these are not a gift. Toothbrushes and shampoos were replenished daily during cleaning and were cleaned well. There is Wi-Fi in the hotel, but I bought a local SIM card and did not use it. In the morning I appreciated all the delights of the hotel. Such as: broken paving stones around the entire perimeter, a well-groomed lawn and an abundance of trees. Trees attract all kinds of living creatures, so it is better not to open the window. My room was on the second floor, when a group of tourists from China arrived for the weekend, I appreciated my high position. It’s quite possible to sleep with earplugs; they were all accommodated on the 1st floor. Near the main building there are ponds with fish that you can feed. Judging by the size of the fish, they feel very good here. Nearby there is a large tree with squirrels, which you can also feed. But it’s better not to do this, because squirrels are clearly obese. Next is a swimming pool with a bar. Luhari, a bar right in the water. The price of drinks discourages people from buying them. But I still took the risk. Don't repeat my mistakes, they don't know how to make cocktails there. There are always free sun loungers. The laws of the boarding house begin with the pool; if you want to relax on a sun lounger with beer bought in a store, you will be kicked out. Drink in your room, it's just for sunbathing, or take it from the bar. Apparently this is why hotel guests do not like to spend time by the pool. As it turned out later, such rules are only in this hotel. Breakfast at the hotel is quite varied, on the very first day I taught them how to make an omelette, so every morning I was greeted with the phrase “aulet?” Nice. A variety of cereals, fruits and vegetables, for food lovers - rice, noodles, meat, sometimes fish. After a wild night, iced tea in the cooler was a great help. There were also pastries and desserts. Breakfast overlooking the road is truly amazing. Kuta Beach is visible from the dining terrace; crossing the road requires some skill. The hotel offers many services, I have no idea what exactly, but invitations to yoga or dancing were constantly thrown at the door. Unfortunately, it was not possible to visit these engines, because there are more interesting places. To the left of the hotel there is a large shopping center, which has an exchange office, a bunch of restaurants, shops, and most importantly, a huge supermarket on the ground floor. This is the only shopping center in the area, so you're in luck. Don't try to find fruits and souvenirs anywhere else, this is not Thailand. It took a couple of days to search for normal juices - I didn’t find them, but maybe someone will like the ones they make near the shopping center. A good alcohol market is located about 7 minutes from the hotel if you walk towards the famous Sky Garden club. I will not describe a guide to other places - this does not apply to the review of the hotel. Not far from this club there is a nice, modest hotel where you can go to the pool at night and drink whatever you want. Only this place and good company brightened up the dark nights fairy island. In Kuta, life stops after 8 pm. If you stay for dinner at this hotel, you can not only have a tasty meal, but also watch a show program with live music. The situation in other establishments is approximately the same, so in Kuta you have to learn to entertain yourself. The staff at the hotel is extremely rude; when I arrived at 3 am in a motorcycle taxi, the security guard decided that I had broken some laws. Namely, she didn’t call a taxi from the hotel. The situation with taxis in Bali is really tense, the official ones are expensive, and they are trying in every possible way to squeeze the unofficial ones. Use go jack taxi. When checking out, our room was confused with another, it happens. From the account statement I learned that you can order drinks, food and girls to your room. The staff understands English. During check out, they will definitely check that the slippers and umbrellas are in place. Only after this can you say goodbye to this wonderful hotel. Will I return to this hotel? No. On Bali? Definitely yes!…
